YUET LEE still great even after the 2020 ‘changing of the guard at the helm of the wok’ after 43 years under the same family since 1977. A SF Legacy Business since 2019.Signature SALT & PEPPER SQUID - very crispy light greaseless batter, perfectly fried in fresh oil, tasty & addicting. My ‘small’ Chef’s Special Wor Won Ton soup is a meal in itself .. fully loaded with chicken & bbq slices, squid as well as bok choy & more ..Garlic stir fry veggies .. I think it’s ONG Choy .. perfectly cooked .. slight crunch & no mushiness ..

My hotel told me to go to this restaurant. I am so glad they did! I had the best shrimp dish with bok choi, sauteed in garlic and ginger. Just perfect. I also got a mug of tea, which was refilled whenever the level got low.

Definitely an old standby. They're open later than most. I come for the Salt and Pepper Porkchop served with soy and chilis. I've been coming here 20 years.

Pork Liver rice soup, Mongolian Beef, Pork ribs, Orange Chicken.. all dishes were so good. My family members were all satisfied with this restaurant. The owner was so sweet.? Thank you. It was the best Eastern food I had in the US. A famous restaurant that even Jackie Chan visited^_^. Korean people... please visit here. Orange Chicken is a little sweeter, fluffier, and less salty than Panda Express's.

On the corner of Broadway and Stockton. We were lucky to find this Restaurant without waiting, it was Chinese Parade and the area was packed with people lining up to get Into the eating places. We ordered the Won Ton soup, the soup had plenty of Won Tons with a flavorful broth and Bok Choi. The stir fry vegetables order was really hot and included bamboo shoots, mushrooms, tofu. We treated ourselves to the salt and paper pork, delightful player with crispy, juicy strips of thin pork with diced fried peppers. We also order a rice plate that came with sweet and juicy prawns with a mixture of silky scrambled eggs. The thin noodles on our prawn chow mein needed to be more savory without sticking together.Vegetarian options: Great amount of vegetable dishes that can be served steam or stir fry.

A hole in the wall establishment, it's cheap, quick, and easy. Food is okay. It is more on the American Chinese flavor than proper Cantonese style. Not a bad place to grab a quick bite.

I tried their sweet and sour pork rib. Oh my Buddha, it is the best! Even better than you can find in HK!Their famous salt and pepper squid is fantastic. Will definitely coming back. The lady waitress was super friendly. Make you feel home especially it was on a heavy rain day.Wish I can go there weekly.

It's delicious, bro. Apart from seafood, the babs are also ok.

Ok I rated it as a 3 for atmosphere but honestly this is the exact atmosphere I expect for an open late Chinese food place. Ever since New Sun Hong Kong closed I have been bereft of my late night place where I can get a bowl of soup late at night. I finally made it to Yuet Lee and it did not disappoint. Gigantic portions of steaming hot bowls if won ton noodle soup, fried rice, fried noodles all streaming out of the kitchen with a frenetic pace. Will def go back.

They didn't have their green beans this time! So sad. But the Chinese broccoli was decent. We have to remember to ask for extra sauce on the ginger noodles. So good but always a little too dry. The service is very attentive at first and then they just leave you alone until all the food is gone. If want something packed up you have to ask. The Duck is tasty. But fatty. You have to be able to deal with that. That's what makes it so good. I'm pretty sure someone smokes in the kitchen while they cook. You can smell cigarettes. You have to be able to deal with that too. It's part of the experience.

Loved it here. The staff were so kind, made my son some makeshift learner chopsticks and served delicious food. Particularly the dumplings ?

Everyone who's worked or lived in Chinatown knows this old school "I don't feel like cooking tonight" standby with late-night weekend hours offering typical Cantonese meals in a snug, bright space. Not gourmet, but good enough, filling and affordable. All of the noodle soups are generally always a good choice in my experience.Noted as Best to order for takeout
