Don't skip this place when coming through SF! Amazing service and a great chef! Their vegetarian V8 roll is amazing! My friend really enjoyed the hamachi, white tuna, and hotate. Primarily a take out place, call and make reservations for a smooth dinning and great service!
I worked at the original Yum Yum Fish from 2011 - 2012. When it suddenly closed, I wasn't shocked because it was expected. Their health score was consistently a C-, they were shut down several times, the rats were HUGE and the co-owners hated each other.When this place opened again, I thought a bunch of terrible things since they used the same name as the original place. This is definitely a small, neighborhood restaurant. If you want crystals and velvet, this isn't your place. However, if you want fresh, delicious sushi…this is it. The chirashi was incredible, with beautifully thick slices of fish. Both rolls we ordered were fresh and original. Great food.
