Zentarou Sushi and Sake Bar

It’s not only incredibly delicious, but also wonderfully cozy thanks to the amazing staff and talented chefs.

First time here and wont be the last time. We did the 139 omakase menu and it did not disappoint! We got not 1, not 2, but 3 dishes that included nigiri. Unheard of!

B and Bella were our amazing host and waitress. We're definitely fans now and love the team here! We called in ahead of time and they said they had two seats for us. When we finally arrived there was a line out the door but B stayed true to his word and we were thankful!

This place is my second home. I come here quite often during lunch time and it always soothes my soul. The tranquil atmosphere paired with delectable fish, truly fresh and rare fish they import makes the experience so special.

Wonderful people. Even better food. Highly recommend if you like sushi. You literally can't go wrong with anything you get (I'd pass on the gyudon lol)

Really great sushi place. Was only 2 blocks from Golden Gate Park 9th st entrance. Easy walk.
Atmosphere was very nice and tables were placed as to not feel crowded.

10/10! Amazing food and service!

The team at Zentarou are so lovely and the sushi is fresh and creatively made. We ordered the Zentarou box, Miracle roll, and Zeitaku don. Everything was so decadent and yummy! The craft cocktails and sake selection are great too and pairs wonderfully with the food.

Definitely recommend for any occasion!

We came here for the first time a few months ago and now we have become regulars. The fish is so fresh, the food overall is amazing. The environment is so pleasant. B personally takes care of all his customers and makes you feel like you’re invited in his home.

Just got back from Japan and found this spot next to Golden Gate Park.
They serve Kyoto style sushi and all their sake is imported from Japan, which really reminds me of my trips there (I usually travel there 2-3 times a year).
I will come back with my family soon. Great job guys!
