do not let the casual exterior of this building fool you - they're serious about food here. came on a Saturday night and it was packed, but they managed to seat us almost immediately! win. we ordered their lobster supreme, roasted duck, and some scrambled eggs with shrimp. rice and soup came with the meal. the lobster? fresh. delicious. chopped for easy eating ( true lobster monsters know how difficult it can be to eat this crustacean when it is improperly prepared! ) duck? delicious and toasty and very flavorful. and the scrambled egg and shrimp is a good, not too salty, meal balancer. very fluffy and soft. the tea they served was also brewed very well, very fragrant and none of the burnt taste. 10/10 would visit again and maybe try some of the other special meals (I gotta come back for the garlic crab)

edit: they have a complimentary little mango pudding for us 🥹

We came here for dinner and had such a satisfying experience that I had to leave a 5-star review!

We ordered a live whole fish, prepared two ways — one half steamed, the other used for soup.

🐟 The steamed fish was perfectly cooked — tender, fresh, and flavorful without any fishy smell. You could really taste the natural sweetness of the fish.
🍲 The fish soup was surprisingly light and clean — no MSG flavor at all, just a nice, comforting broth that really hit the spot.

We also ordered their signature “House Special Stir-Fry” — packed with crisp taro strips, Chinese sausage, bean sprouts, and green beans. The texture was amazing and every bite had great wok hei flavor.

🍍 To finish, we added the Sweet & Sour Pork, served beautifully in a pineapple boat. The sauce was well balanced — not too sweet, not too sour — and the pineapple was super fresh and juicy (not the canned stuff!). The dish was colorful and full of flavor.

💁‍♂️ Service was friendly and relaxed. We didn’t feel rushed at all, and the portions were generous for the price.

✨ Overall: A hidden gem for authentic Cantonese food — we’re already looking forward to coming back and trying more dishes soon!

First time to try their set breakfast. Not many choices but definitely good enough.
Starting from $12.99 per set with Rice congee of your choice and come with soy sauce fried noodles, 油炸鬼/油條, 腸粉 of your choice of 2.
You get what you pay. Price is reasonable.
Next time, may try their dinner menu.

For breakfast, you can choose one porridge + two kinds of food, plus a drink. There are many choices of food combinations, the portions are sufficient, and the taste is good. Unfortunately, the quality of the drinks they provide is really poor. This can be greatly improved. space. In addition, the store is clean and tidy, and the service is excellent, which is worthy of appreciation.

Overall a good restaurant with affordable full meals. The pricing is very good for the portions you will get. They also have a wide variety of authentic and unique foods. You might have to order ahead for specific items such as the goose. The service was quick.

Parking: Easy to find a spot around the area on street

Kid-friendliness: There were kids eating there just fine. They have large tables if you want to bring kids

Wheelchair accessibility: Easy enough to bring a wheelchair in

Prices are reasonable. Pretty good food and it's usually not crazy busy. We didn't try the BBQ stuff and mainly ordered dishes off the menu.

They have a lunch special as well as a la carte specials based on the time of day.

Mapo Tofu - doesn't have the ma that makes mapo tofu. Mild/medium spicy. Asides from the lack of ma it was not bad.

String Beans - wasn't as flavorful but for $11.99 it's good.

Slat and Pepper Spare Ribs - one of my favorite dishes and that garlic season is so good on rice.

Beef Chow Run - good portion but could use more spices.

Overall it's a great place to swing by.

Hidden gem in the SGV soon to be not. Their roasted duck is the star of the show. Close 2nd is their Classic roasted pig. Outshines the rest in the area. Guangdong homestyle cooking with cantonese over tones. Will visit again soon. Hope you guys drop by and see for yourself. Offers dim sum, seating is limited, closely at 830pm and there parking.
