Very sad to see one of the best restaurants in the San Gabriel Valley, no, all of Los Angeles County, close permanently. We will miss Roberto's cooking!

Delicious haute Mexicuisine. So sad that Roberto will be closing his doors soon after 24 years. Thank you for serving us wonderful works of art ?

A Family-run Mexican eatery serves up sophisticated dishes such as Oaxacan relleno in a basic setting. A cozy environment with local #mexicanfood. Should ask for daily special before ordering.@babitamexicuisine #familyrun #mexicuisine #sangabrielvalley

Babita Mexicuisine is a truly unique dining experience. From the moment you step inside, you feel transported to a different world, one where every detail has been carefully considered to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The small size of the restaurant, seating only 20 people, adds to the intimate feeling, making it the perfect place for a romantic dinner or a catch-up with close friends. The menu at Babita is a true reflection of the chef's passion and expertise, and each dish is a masterpiece in its own right. Whether you're a fan of traditional Mexican cuisine or looking to try something new, you're sure to find something to love here. The combination of ingredients and the artful presentation of each dish is a testament to the chef's deep understanding of Mexican cuisine and the rich cultural heritage that it represents. While dining at Babita, I was also struck by the community aspect of the restaurant. During my visit, I was surprised to see that my parents knew many of the other diners in the restaurant, including city officials and faculty members from nearby Caltech. This just goes to show that Babita is more than just a restaurant; it's a gathering place for the local community, where people come together to share good food and good company. In conclusion, Babita Mexicuisine is a must-visit for anyone looking for a unique and truly special dining experience. Whether you're in the mood for a romantic dinner, a catch-up with friends, or just a delicious meal, you're sure to be impressed by the food, atmosphere, and welcoming community at Babita.

The food was nicely plated and delightfully tasty. Would eat there again. (Someone else paid the bill so I've no idea what anything costs.)

I gotta say the asada tacos were good with the homemade tortillas and salsa, but thumbs down for the price, $2.50 per small asada taco, over priced.

Parking: Plenty of space

Wheelchair accessibility: Yes

Best mexican cuisine I have ever had. Learned what real food should taste like. No rice and beans here.

Mexicuisine indeed. Mexican dishes brought to an exquisite level with very personal service by the chef and his family.

Best formal Mexican cuisine in LA. Authentic and family run. The love they put into the food here is undeniable.Don’t come here if you’re in a rush. The chef is a master of culinary arts, so take your and shower some respect.

Ultra signature haute cuisine Chile en Nogada available from October to early February along with great pairing wines from Mexico's Valle de Guadalupe, Baja California del Norte.Try other refined Mexican regionally inspired cuisine year round. To some used to cheap food, Babita may seem expensive, but you get what you pay for. Chef Berrelleza is a pioneer of Alta Cocina Méxicana and should not be missed.

Babita's is a hidden gem, it was my first time there and the food was amazing we had the Chile en Nogada, Oaxacan Chile Relleno and poached pears with habanero ice cream. Everything was delicious.
