I had the most delicious pastries here. The pies are insane. As are the buns and muffins . Sure it's a bit pricey but this is a small business that needs major volume to drop prices. Ish is amazing and passionate about his treats - it really shows!! loves it.

I have loved every pastry I have tried. Ish has a way of making them look absolutely decadent but manages to balance flavors and textures so they are never too sweet or heavy. I'm blown away each time I try something new. Olive oil cake, banana muffins, salted egg scones, Ube cookies, multitude of donuts and pies. I'm hooked.

Staff here was amazing. They recommended one of their pies after I purchased a cookie. Very unique style and artwork to their pastries. Would recommend and I definitely will be coming back!

Very overpriced, always closed, the owner is arrogant and doesn't take constructive criticism, and most importantly, the baked goods aren't even that good. I don't recommend this business to anyone.

the best dessert place ever!! came here a few days ago and I'm still thinking about the sweets. the owner Ish is one of the sweetest people ever and you can tell how passionate he is about baking! the menu is always changing and I love it cause there is always new and unique creations for you to try. His sweets are truly one of a kind and he also uses high quality ingredients!! this time I got the ube cheese pie, pecan bun and chocolate caramel cake. the ube cheese pie is amazing, I've gotten it before and I loveeee it. It was my first time trying the pecan bun and I loved it as well!! The chocolate caramel cake was sooooo moist and good. I also loved how the frosting was caramel. Therefore, it is not the typical chocolate cake but it is so much tastier. The caramel frosting goes so well with chocolate cake. If you are ever in the area, you HAVE to try Baking With Ish!! 10/10 recommend

Scratch-made Baking with Finesse. Oh how I appreciate small businesses that put their heart into what they do! Not only are the sweets scrumptious but the creativity & uniqueness of their offerings really stand out. UNIQUE FLAVORS/CREATIVITY: It's so much fun to see Ish's Creative twist & his ability to fuse familiar treats such as donuts, cookies, muffins, pies & cakes with S.E.Asian-inspired flavors such as ube, macapuno, calamansi, pandan, etc . He also offers the basics such as savory & sweet scones-- but don't be unimpressed...his ingredients are top notch as his blueberry scone, for example, is like an explosion of buttery, blueberry cakey-crumble goodness! MENU/SERVICE: Menu changes weekly so if you have your heart set on an item don't be disappointed, just order something new & interesting...you just may like it! As his personable business expands, I'm sure I'll get to see my blueberry scones more often ;) LOCATION/PARKING: Bakery is nestled in a small neighborhood near the San Gabriel Mission (in Blossom Market Hall). His shop is tiny but a crowd favorite. Lots of free parking.

the Calamansi donut I had purchased from this place was not too sweet, which is the perfect compliment for Asian desserts. the hint of calamansi was the perfect amount too.

Unfortunately I do not have any photos to share of all the goods here because we tend to eat it too quickly for me to even take out my phone. We always stop by when we go to Blossom to check out what Ish has made. There are some regular items but also some totally different items. We've got at least five times so we have had our fair share of items. Recently we went and got a matcha citrus cake. It had quickly become my favorite thing I've had from Ish. Ish if you read this, please have it more often. The matcha wasn't too strong and the citrus tasted so fresh. The cake was moist and honestly just perfection for me. Prior to that cake, we have gotten the Ube cheese pie a couple of times. That one is a favorite! If you have never had this combo before, please try it. I'm lucky enough to have had this flavor combination at other places before so I wasn't afraid to try it in a pie. This pie is so tasty. It's sweet and salty. I think it's a great choice if you want to taste the stuff Ish makes. He comes up with a lot of unique flavors. Some other things that have stuck out to us was this apple tart. There was a special name for it but I can't remember it. It was similar tasting to an apple pie but less sweet and more crispy. I have tried to order new things when I have come and I look forward to what else he makes. There was one item we weren't super into..which was the calamansi donut. I think we should have tried the calamansi pie instead...or perhaps maybe if the donut was a cake donut instead? Anyways I look forward to tasting all of his other creative pastries!

I got the cheese ube pie and ube sesame bun, they’re both not good and way too overpriced (10$ each). The pie is extremely sweet and none of my families wanna take another bite. The bun is very dry and under average.Very disappointed!

This place is located inside the Blossom Market Hall. What a nice addition to this place and when you get your coffee next door at AK roast you can head over to baking with ISH to try his fabulous bake goods. We got the ube cheese pie and it was delicious just perfect pairing on the cheese and ube filling. I also got the pandan bun and that was packed with flavor but we ate it before I was able to take a picture. I will sure be back for more of the bake goods they have to offer. Really nice people and staff.

I STILL think about the chocolate cookie I had once months ago , it was THAT GOOD! I called today 1 minute before closing hour based off yelp and google, in hopes/prayers that maybe the business hours might not have been updated. No answer. The owner called back about 30 seconds later and was so friendly and sweet. He did let me know they sold out for the day anyway Can't wait to go back and try everything else!! Yum

I am so glad I found Baking with Ish. In my first time there I grabbed treats for my husband's birthday. I got a slice of pie, a cake slice, a morning bun, and a cookie. My husband and I thought everything tasted great. The owner was very friendly and helpful. I will be back!

This bakery is located out in Blossom Market Hall right next to AK Coffee near on of the entrances. Ish offers a variety of unique pastries and the taste is well balanced. I can tell that the owner loves what he does and it shows throughout his bakery. When I stopped by everyone was so friendly and patient with my orders. During the holidays he sells his delicious pies if you preorder. Price ranges from $7-10 for his baked goods but it's all well worth it for the taste and size. Sweet experience overall and great ambiance. .
