The Caribbean Gourmet spot inside Boston’s Market Hall offered some truly delicious entrée options. I visited with a friend who recommended the oxtails, curries, and jerk chicken—all of which were incredibly well-seasoned and perfectly balanced in flavor. I’d highly recommend it to anyone, especially since it’s located in an open, food hall-style space that features a variety of other cuisines, similar to a food court but much more upscale.

The setting included a small stage and communal seating, creating a festive and inviting atmosphere, especially with the Christmas decorations for the season. Everything was reasonably priced, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The overall vibe was casual and relaxed yet vibrant, making it a great spot to hang out and savor some amazing food.

Parking on the street was free and plentiful when we went on a Wednesday night after 7:30 pm.

This is the absolute best Caribbean food I've had in California. The beef patties, the oxtail, the jerk chicken, the cheese rolls.... Good lord. It is all so so good. The staff are absolutely lovely. I dream about the food here. They make an absolutely amazing scotch bonnet hot sauce as well that tastes almost exactly like my favorite sauce from Barbados. They sell it by the bottle so make sure to take some home. Blossom market hall is just a fun spot in general. Go support and keep these local family owned businesses alive!

Great restaurant. I ordered the chicken curry with rice and peas. The curry was very flavorful and a bit spicy (which I loved). The chicken was super tender and juicy. The chickpeas and rice were both good as well but in comparison to the chicken which was just out of this world they were just okay.

The blossom market itself was clean and hip but the night that I went I didn’t really feel like it was the best environment as it seemed like it lacked some of the homeyness and coziness that a meal like this Caribbean food deserved. It seemed like a more commercial “tech-like” take to food that lacked the soul that the food carried.

Overall food gets 5 stars and venue gets 3.5 to 4 stars.

I’ve been seeing Jamaican food ALL over my social media feeds and though this was my first time having Jamaican food, I couldn’t have imagined a better first experience.

When enjoying good food, there are lots of factors that affect our experience but with the Oxtail Stew and Coconut Rice plate, the flavors range from the show. Every bite had amazing flavor and complimented everything in the dish perfectly.

It was an amazing blend of spices, textures and the perfect portion. I couldn’t stop shoveling food into my mouth, haha!

My only wish was the oxtail pressure cooked a bit longer to have a more tender bite. Other than that, I loved everything!!! I’m going back today for more

I also ordered a beef patty. It was delicious also, but the curry was a bit too strong for me. I still killed the 2 patties I ordered.

Also—- their scotch bonnet hot sauce is legit spicy. ?️ not for the faint of heart

Beautiful atmosphere, service and people only add to the incredible food. The curry chicken with rice and peas and cabbage and the beef patty was some of the best I’ve ever had. Wow! My wife just turned me on to this place. The oxtail stew and beef patties are fantastic. They make their own soursop along with a good selection of drinks. Lots of Caribbean customers, too. If the Caribbeans love it, you know it's authentic!
The Blossom Market is a great, local collection of small restaurants. If you haven't been here yet, definitely check it out!
