The business was booming, with many people dining in. The meatballs, shrimp dumplings, fish balls, and vermicelli in the Chaozhou-style rice noodles were all from the frozen section of a supermarket; the taste was mediocre, the meat was tough, and it was the cheapest batch. The soup base tasted good, but it was full of unhealthy seasonings, leaving me incredibly thirsty afterward. The waiters were rude and indifferent; after our meal, they simply dumped the takeout containers on our table without refilling our water or inquiring about our dining experience—more indifferent than robots. The tea was as weak as water used to rinse a teapot. I don't even know why I'm expected to tip?

We've been there a few times before and thought the food was delicious. So we decided to bring family to come again tonight. However, upon entering, a group of female servers was congregated and chatting. Despite there being several empty tables clearly available, they made no effort to acknowledge our presence, greet us, or invite us to be seated. We stood waiting for several minutes without any assistance.
When we finally managed to get the attention of one of the servers, her attitude was dismissive and unfriendly. There was no smile, no welcome, and she seemed inconvenienced by our presence. Throughout the time we were there, the staff appeared more interested in their own conversations than in attending to guests.
This is not simply a matter of a slow service night, it was a fundamental failure in basic customer service. A restaurant's atmosphere is created by its staff, and the behavior we witnessed was deeply off-putting and unprofessional.
We left the restaurant without dining, as the experience made it clear that we were not valued as customers. We have since taken our business to a competitor who knows how to welcome guests.
We're deeply disappointed, as we had previously heard good things about your restaurant. I hope you will treat this complaint with seriousness and provide mandatory retraining for your front-of-house staff on the basics of hospitality, customer acknowledgment, and professional conduct.

The service so bad! Especially serving employees. We’re a group of 8 people, there is one vegan, so we bought a vegan dish for her, then the waitress shout at us and urged the vegan going out for her dish, so terrible! Why can this restaurant still exist on earth! The worst restaurant!

The food is far better than its 3.5 star review. The stir fried beef rice noodles from Chao Wei Ju is very close to the original Hong Kong chef level with the aroma from wok. The beef rice noodle soup is also tasty. The most surprising part came from the small tea pot and refreshing southern China tea, for free. Will try the hotpot for the next time.

🥇I really enjoyed the food at this restaurant. It's an authentic Chaoshan hotpot, with a delicious clear broth that has excellent flavor. The meat quality is fresh and tasty, and the prices are reasonable. The rice noodles have a perfect chewy texture, and the portion size is just right. The tea is exceptionally good.
💡 The chopsticks are a bit too thin and short, making it somewhat uncomfortable to pick up food. The dipping sauce can become too rich if you eat too much of it, and it's quite sweet - best paired with vinegar and chili sauce.

Have lunch here a group of friends here for the first time. I guess the atmosphere and the service is ok as expected at simple noodle house. Nothing exceptional of course. Food is ok, I had the house special 4 items noodles. Large bowl, hard to finish.
Overall, it feels like everyone is in a rush, the place is loud like a market, waiters will rush you for sure. But again, this is expected.
Nothing much to add, if you want a hot bowl of Chinese noodle, chiu chow style and you're in a hurry, then this is it. Reasonable price and lots of food!
Parking is very tight so you might have to park on the street.

the food is ok, but the service bad! the lady call Amy is so rude and not professional at all. Bossman please if you saw this review fire her! your food so good, but Amy big No!
We wanted something hot today so we decided to eat here again. As we sat down, we asked for an iced water. And until we finished ordering, went to get our sauces, served the boiling pot, the ice water was still not here, so we have to asked again. And they gave us milk custard when they brought us plates. We didn’t order so we asked was this a new item they offer here. The server said in a very impatient and rude way“totally up to you” and we got even more confused. So we asked whether this is free, and she said of course not. Then she found out she served the wrong table. She didn’t say sorry and just took the milk custard from us. We ordered the combo A and the beef cube fried rice. The fresh cut wagyu beef had no marbling at all and we can’t even differentiate it from the fresh cut beef. They were both very tough and hard to chew. The only good meat they have here would be the beef shank. The beef fried rice was a disaster too. No beef in it at all and it had no taste so we have to asked them to recook it with salt. Later, we asked for a new bowl to mix our Kway Teow, and the server asked why we don’t use the dirty small bowl we have. Like excuse me? You asked customer to use dirty bowl when customer asked for a new one? And crazy thing was when we asked to pay, the server said “you don’t want the rice right”, when we left almost the entire thing uneaten. The owner should retrain all his/her employees with good attitude and common sense. Would not recommend to anyone.

Authentic Chaoshan flavor! This is my second visit — last time I had hotpot, and this time I tried their signature clear beef noodle soup. The presentation is clean and refreshing, the broth is rich and flavorful, and everything tastes amazing. They also serve complimentary tea in individual mini teapots, a unique touch of Chaoshan kungfu tea culture. Very enjoyable!

The service is terrible and they will charge you tips no matter what you write on the receipt. Also, there’re ants everywhere in the restaurant, including the table. When we told the lady, she told us that it’s normal.

Very nice beef noodle, meat is good, portion is big, and the soup is very clear and flavorful. Parking lot is small, and can be hard to find parking spot during busy hours. The small teapot is very cute.
