The service is very bad and the prices are too high, a pound of stewed potatoes $18 dollars

Their butter stuffed empanadas are delicious and reasonably priced at $1.75. First tried them at baby shower. Selections ground beef, shredded chicken, veggies . I say better then Porto's & less expensive

As I was driving, the store sign caught my eye and I u-turned back. So glad I did because the pastries did not disappoint! The concha was probably my favorite. I've tried many -- from El Super market to panaderias in Mexico City -- and the conchas they make are solid. My second favorite was definitely the polvorones. Love the tricolors so much. It's worth the visit for fresh pastries! They also have other food available but I didn't get that this time around. Next time!

The bread is so good! The only reason I go back is because their bread is authentic. Rating 3/5 because the cashiers aren't friendly at all. I've been there many times and they don't greet or anything, especially the lady who's always there. Do better!

The cakes are good, the only bad thing is the very hateful owner, she raises the prices every week now I go to PORTOS there they keep the prices

New around the area I come here for the pan dulce (sweet bread) It's delicious fresh and good price. The only reason i give 4 starts is for the rosca de reyes since the bread is goood! I though the rosca was going to be the same but oh I was wrong it was like and old dried up concha it didn't have any of the fruit that traditional roscas have that's my favorite it only had some red and green Chewy candy that looked like dried up cherries on top of that when I got home the sugar on top looked burned I guess that part was my fault for not Checking before paying the next day the left overs were hard ? it was over priced $40 for a medium money drown the drain now I know next year eaither I'll drive down to South LA to Quatzinguo or drive 15 minutes to El Aguila in El Sereno for roscas

One of the very few authentic bakeries left in So Cal. I haven't had pan dulce that was comparable, all bread I've tasted, tastes like the bread you get from the market, flavorless. You can tell El Pavo uses authentic recipes w quality products and that's what keeps me coming

We came here to buy some Tamales and got pan dulce too. The pan was good, specially the tortas, but the tamales were a bit salty and lacked meat. They were on the dry side due to the lack of filling.
