Nice place, great service, and great price. I come here for the pork sung bread. Absolutely divine ✨️ ? of course, the other selections of bread there are great as well. I'm also fan of the blueberry bread they have there.

12.18.2o23Sorry, but I'm not liking the egg tarts here. I would've gone to Jim's or Phu's, except they aren't on the way to work, didn't open early enough or closed on the day. The egg tart crust wasn't flaky but very dense. And I didn't see the Portuguese eggtarts, could still be in the oven. So, this is only for the regular egg tart. If you like flaky crust like me, I wouldn't recommend coming here for egg tarts.

We always like to go here for any birthday occasion for my family or my wife's side. Their cake is so light and fluffy it doesn't even really taste like cake trust me! I love their variety of cakes to choose from

With the best of intentions from my mother & sister in law & the bakery, this mango mousse cake for my birthday fell flat. First of all, the cake had the consistency of a mousse, cheese, cheese cake & cake in one. I don't have the description from the bakery & I have never stepped foot into this place, but the cake was confusing. I expected a light fluffy eggy layer of soft sponge between mango mousse but instead, it was a consistency of cheese & cake. Or was it cheese cake? Also, the kiwis & strawberries were so sour! My tongue puckered and finally had to drink water and eat a sweet melon ball to balance it out. I've had better.

Not what I expected, but still okay to try.

Always come and looking for the egg tart only. Delicious.

Green Wheat has increased their price but the quality went down! My brother got my sister her favorite durian crepe cake but it feels so much whipped cream and barely any durian. Especially, when you open the box out, you can't event smell it

Was in the mood for some dan ta as my usual place was closed for the day. Found this on Yelp and thought it was worth a shot. Really great Portuguese and regular egg tarts. Crispy outer crust and a super creamy and tasty custard. Great prices, service, and people. I'd gladly come back to try more items

Yasss, great bread, amazing selection, Asian pastries, and cake! I love their bread, the flavored ones are great. I also appreciate the smaller loaves if I didn't want a whole one. Their pastries are authentic and their cake slices are also delicious.

My first visit but since it was late in the afternoon, what I wanted were sold out already. The place looked decent though and carried theHong Kong bakery items I wanted.

Just came back from NY and couldn't stop thinking of those pineapple cha siu bun from Chinatown. So I have hit couple places to satisfy the taste buds. Although there isn't a pineapple cha siu bao, I have combined pineapple bun and a cha siu bun together to eat this place has the best soft and chewy buns. I love it. Very close to those buns from Chinatown in NYC. The cha siu bun is surprisingly beyond my expectation. There is so much meet. Recommend to heat it up for 30 seconds in the microwave before you eat it. Yum!

Green Wheat Field Bakery is truly a hidden gem in the San Gabriel Valley. This bakery offers a wide variety of baked goods, but what sets it apart from others is its whole, unsliced loaves. The bread is the epitome of fresh, fluffy, and chewy. Not only does it make for a perfect sandwich, but it also adds an extra layer of texture and flavor to any grilled cheese or toast. One of the best things about Green Wheat Field Bakery is its commitment to quality. Every loaf feels as if it is made the same day, ensuring that each bite is full of flavor and texture. The bakery's attention to detail is evident in every product they sell, from the crusty exterior to the soft and airy interior of each loaf. There have been times when the loaves are completely sold out for the day by noon - so don't be too saddened if that happens to you.In addition to its amazing bread, Green Wheat Field Bakery also offers a wide selection of pastries, cakes, and buns. Whether you're in the mood for something sweet or savory, you'll be able to find something that suits your taste. From cream cakes to soft and fluffy buns, each pastry is made with the same level of care and attention to detail as the bakery's bread.

Green Wheat Field Bakery is located on a corner, right next door to Noodology. After my husband and I got some tea at Yifang Taiwan Fruit Tea in the plaza next door, we walked back to our car, ready to leave. But as we were getting inside, I noticed immediately a delicious smell of melted butter. I told my husband that I smelled melted butter and want to know where that is coming from. He pointed to the bakery behind me (we parked on the curb since parking is very limited in the plaza with Yifang Taiwan Fruit Tea and Noodology). So we decided to walk in. After looking around in this small bakery, we ended up picking up an egg tart and a few assorted breads. I didn't really see anything I wanted (although I wanted to come in, lol) so the items we purchased was mostly for my husband (but I did get my mom a small bread with nuts and seeds on top because she likes those types of breads). My total came out to $10.09 for 4 items. Please note that there is a minimum of $10 in order to pay with credit/ debit card. Also there currently is a special Yelp check in for a free milk tea with a minimum $1 purchase. The tea itself was too sweet but I don't think we were able to request to adjust the sweetness level. I ended up adding tea I made at home to the tea to help dilute the sugar to my liking. My husband liked the breads he picked and my mom liked the bread I bought for her. I didn't have any of the egg tart but my husband thought it was okay. I would love to come back to this bakery again and hopefully pick up a few things for myself in the future.
