Garbage restaurant! The cashier charged me wrong amount of the food and refused to give me changes. Then a middle aged woman who looks like the owner even yelled at me. And the food was terrible. Don't go there! If you do, you would spend extra money for garbage food!

Yes, they do serve in takeout containers, but they also tell you this as you're ordering, no big deal. The woman that greeted us and took our order was friendly, as was the lady that bought us the food.

We ordered wonton in chili oil, pork hui tou, chicken and cilantro boiled dumplings, and xiao long bao. We both agreed the wonton in chili oil might have been some of the best we've had. Their chili oil is delicious and the wonton are not at all kind of sweet like they are elsewhere sometimes. The hui tou were juicy and nicely cooked. The chicken and cilantro dumplings were flavorful. The XLB were tasty, a little different than others we've had, in a good way. They didn't stick together and none broke, but we did miss having a bit of a bigger spoon.

Nothing fancy but we didn't mind sitting there as the food was so good. It looked like most people were doing takeout as quite a few people came to pick up. We'll definitely be back to try the pan fried pork buns!

Completely let down by this place and misled by the other reviews. Photos are misleading, they only serve in carry out containers making it hard to eat with the trash quality plastic spoons.

We ate right away in the restaurant, so all of these dishes were fresh out of the kitchen, not brought home.

Stewed Beef noodle soup: meat so tough I couldn’t break it apart with chopsticks and the plastic spoon, tough and dry. Broth had good spice level but not salty enough. Noodles were too soft though a good thickness.

Xiao long bao: okay, but wrapper was soggy and the packaging makes it so they stick together and fall apart when you pick them up.

Pork pan fried buns: these were decent, cooked well not too oily, and had a nice crisp bottom.

Atmosphere: you don’t come to SGV restaurants for decor but this was rough. Half painted, the trash can is a cardboard box by the door, and it was very hot in there and they don’t give you water.

This would be one star if it wasn’t for the pork buns. The beef noodle soup is among the worst I’ve ever had and as one of my favorite foods I was very unhappy with this place.

The food here is phenomenal. The dumplings, wontons, and pot stickers rival the famous Dinh Tai Fung (honestly, Hui Tou Xiang makes them even better) and at much more affordable prices. They do only serve the food in to-go containers, but they still allow dine-in.

It’s super unpalatable. I will definitely not go back and order noodles for the second time. The sweet ones are not sweet, the salty ones are not salty, there is no green onion, and there is no soy sauce. There is no important seasoning on the dining table. The thing is, it tastes really bad. We don’t even have bowls for dining in, so we still have to pack it up. It tastes so bad and it’s not out of business. The service attitude is extremely bad. It’s super bad. I’ll give it a bad review. I’ll take a photo and post it.

My favorite dumpling house. There Kimchi is the best. Better than the one from Japan and Korean market.

The beef noodle soup is amazing. You’ll be addicted to the broth. Also loved the Hong Kong Style wontons, and everything else.

From left to right and top to bottom, passion fruit lemonade, lychee lemonade, three flavor dumplings, pork shumai, 2x pork xiao long bao, chicken pot stickers, minced pork noodles, spicy wontons and wood ear mushroom.I would say pork xiao long bao doesn’t beat DTF. I think the experience of slurping the soup from the xiao long bao in a spoon is a experience you can’t take away and I did not feel that same experience eating the dumplings from Hui Tou Xiang. Don’t get me wrong, the food is still good and the chili oil is a must try, so it’s a place to stop by if you’re in the area.
