Yes, they do serve in takeout containers, but they also tell you this as you're ordering, no big deal. The woman that greeted us and took our order was friendly, as was the lady that bought us the food.

We ordered wonton in chili oil, pork hui tou, chicken and cilantro boiled dumplings, and xiao long bao. We both agreed the wonton in chili oil might have been some of the best we've had. Their chili oil is delicious and the wonton are not at all kind...

The food here is phenomenal. The dumplings, wontons, and pot stickers rival the famous Dinh Tai Fung (honestly, Hui Tou Xiang makes them even better) and at much more affordable prices. They do only serve the food in to-go containers, but they still allow dine-in.

From left to right and top to bottom, passion fruit lemonade, lychee lemonade, three flavor dumplings, pork shumai, 2x pork xiao long bao, chicken pot stickers, minced pork noodles, spicy wontons and wood ear mushroom.I would say pork xiao long bao doesn’t beat DTF. I think the experience of slurping the soup from the xiao long bao in a spoon is a experience you can’t take away and I did not feel that same experience eating the dumplings from Hui Tou Xiang.
