A pretty solid institution overall! Not exactly sure why there are so many negative reviews. the congee was very tasty (I got the pork rib, congee with clams and razor clams added), did not contain much MSG, which I'm usually pretty sensitive to. not over salted, was great, warming, and healthful meal to have especially when I was recovering from being sick.
The only drawback that I have is that the conjuring was a little watery from my standpoint, would've liked 25 to 30% more rice. However, this may purely be stylistic.
I didn't get the fresh seafood added, but would definitely bring my parents here next time to try it out. A solid institution and I would definitely come back!

The menu didn't state that two people would have to pay double the price, and the waiter didn't say that two people ate a pot of porridge, thinking it was more than forty. When I paid, it was more than seventy, and the side dishes were not delicious. The porridge was average for the first time. I’m going to leave a bad review here. For a price of over 70, you can have a Korean barbecue buffet and an all-you-can-eat seafood buffet. It’s not worth going here.

Overall, it was pretty good, but I lost contact with my romantic partner after eating.

It says it closes at 10 o'clock, so we can go to rest an hour earlier. It says the chef won't cook anymore, so they won't do takeout even if I ask for it. It's very bad.

I was tired from playing during the day and too lazy to go out to eat, so I bought this takeaway. The porridge was very fresh and the fried dough sticks were delicious.

It was recommended by Xiaohongshu and I was deceived again. I had an upset stomach and wanted to drink porridge, but when I took a sip, it tasted fishy and the shrimps were rotten. Frozen fresh food shouldn't be so fishy and bitter, right?

Can you imagine getting charged $230 for 3 ppl just with congee and two appetizers? The waiter steered us into ordering much more expensive options without telling us about the price. We added one medium sized crab (if not small) and that crab alone they ended up charging us $90 because it’s “market price”. The waiter also asked us to order the seafood congee which is $25, per person (beware of this when you order), instead of the $15 per person option we were trying to get. When we saw the bill we were all shocked… I’d say the main thing is probably the astronomical price they tried to charge for the crab. It’s a scam. Beware of that and you should be fine ordering individual portion of congee and confirm on price.

Because the porridge is freshly cooked, the waiting time is longer, but it is super delicious? The fried dough sticks and side dishes are especially delicious.

I'm just expressing my personal preference. This porridge is really not suitable for me, a Lao Guang, and it's also expensive. I want to have fried noodles or stir-fried rice noodles to go with it, but it doesn't even have the fried noodles. I forgot to take a picture of the fried ones, and it doesn't taste like Lao Guang.
