I went to Luna's last week around 4pm. I was the only customer and the server didn't speak English. 15 minute wait for drinks and he came back with the wrong drink!! Btw the drink was gin and tonic and tequila. He made an old fashion. Also I was overcharged but couldn't solve the issue since he didn't speak English. He did an automatic tip for a table of 8 eventhough it was a party of 2.

If you're in the mood for stale chips, cracked salsa bowls, cold beans, tasteless & watery salsa & having to pay for tap water with lemon, this is the place for you! We questioned the charge for tap water only to have management & the owner tell us that it is a new law to charge for tap water (which is a bold faced lie!). They refused to remove the tap water charge! We have never been treated so rudely in our lives! The manager told us that he tasted the chips & they weren't stale. All they had to do was open a new bag, those chips were not made fresh! If I could rate this joke of a restaurant negative stars, I would!

Owner was extremely rude...they charged for a piece of lemon for the water. The beans were cold, chips were stale and the "salsa" tasted like dirty water. I went in with a great attitude, I'd been there a few years ago and bragged about the food to my sister. So disappointing. When we asked about the lemon charge...the manager came over. He was polite and there was no problem....until the owner came over and started yelling at us. Yes I said yelling!! Then the manager said he was not going to remove the lemon charge. We paid it and yes, I called the woman a word. That's exactly how she was acting....like the "b" word. By the way, the server was nice until the owner started in on me. Shame on them. I've never ever been attacked like that at a place of business. I highly recommend you don't go there! The owner was the instigator. Not me. If I walked in and acted "unsavory"...why did the server take great care of us. Also, I was going to wash my hands and the manager told me the women's restroom was "flooded". I had to use the men's restroom. Anyway, the tacos were tasty and the owner yelled at us as we left to never come back. I let her know we would never be back. This could continue...my biggest regret was going there. I understand you feel you have to side with the company you work for...but in this case you have been fooled. The owner invited me to post a negative Yelp review. She kept up the yelling and bullying. Myra think about it...if you were the server, and a customer came in with attitude wouldn't you ask them to leave? The server was very nice to us. The manager was polite. Once the owner walked over and started in on me, that's when I got angry. She raised her voice to speak over me. That's bad business. It's too bad she started this mess. I've never been harassed by any owner before. It's too bad you weren't there. Anyway...as I stated earlier, my biggest regret was taking my sister there. We just got out of church (San Gabriel Mission) and we're looking forward to a yummy meal. So I entered the restaurant with a good attitude. This all happened because we questioned the "water/lemon charge". One person said the charge was for tap water, then it became a lemon charge. I wish there was a way to fully explain this to you. Sometimes things get mixed up in translation when we write it down in this fashion. I'm not exaggerating at all. Your owner was definitely not heartbroken because I called her that. I specifically told the manager he was polite and professional.. The server...that she was nice....then the owner came around to my side of the table and was yelling at me, that's when I called her a "b". It's too bad a scene was made, but I didn't start it. If the owner had let the manager handle it, this review would not have been posted. ....this is not about the few cents....this is on principle and lack of communication on the restaurants part. In the future, it would be helpful to know that your place of business charges for water, a salsa, lemons etc...then we would have had an option. Thanks for reaching out with your response Myra. And yes...there are plenty of other places for me to get good food, good service and respect. Susie out.

The service is great and they make you fell very welcome and remembered you. The menue has grown substansually from what the previous owners had and the food is great. The ambiance is colorful, pleasing and joyfull. TV's are stratigically located so all can see with the sound confortably low as to not disturb conversation.

Edit: This to the owner Guy who took upon himself to reply. I had lunch at lunas. I know what I want I paid. Good ahead. Report my review cuz I ate here with my peeps. But you clearly want got hurt over the facts presented here. Soda: $4 Fajita Special: $12.99 on menu/window display/yelp but $14.99 Guacamole, Salsa, & Chips: : about $15+ Ambiance was Chill, Food was Good, the Service Sucked, and Price was Dishonest. Let's focus on the Price. It was the Fajita special day & it is listed for $12.99 on the menu, on the window display, and there's yelp photo showing $12.99. The bill comes "Surprise MF"...it's $14.99 before tax. My peeps ordered Guacamole, Salsa, & Chips. I wasn't there to witness it but my peeps were told it was on the house by the manager/owner guy. "Surprise MF!" It wasn't on the house & it was over $15 for Guacamole, Salsa, and Chips. Of course, I wasn't there when my peeps order but $15 is about $2 more than other restaurants. Unlike them, the amount of guacamole you get for $15 wasn't worthy to feed a 5 year old from a 4th world nation. Think about it for a moment. You get more from a McDonald's apple pie for $2 than you would get paying $15+ for Guacamole at Lunas. Service - The server sucked. If capitalism existed in North Korea, you'll get better service from North Korea's Burger King served by Kim Jong-Un himself. The last time I saw a Burger King was when Dinosaur ruled the world. Food - It was good. Would I recommend Lunas? I would say Yes but dishonest pricing make a hard NOOOOOOOOOPPPPPPPPEEEEEEE!!!

This is a mom and pop family run business and they really do care about their business and making things right. Bad experience, they will go over the top to fix it and make it right. Fav dish? I love the molé there and my husband loves their quesabirria tacos with the side of consomé and so does my daughter. My boys love their special chicken and rice. The churro dessert is really good. I highly recommend that if you're still hungry after your meal and don't forget the cafe de la olla!

Embarking on a culinary odyssey at this distinguished Mexican enclave was an experience steeped in sophistication and culinary artistry. From the moment I crossed the threshold, the lavish decor captivated my senses, weaving an opulent tapestry that set the stage for an evening of unparalleled gastronomic delight. The attentive and well-versed staff orchestrated the dining affair with a seamless choreography, their impeccable service enhancing the overall ambiance. Each interaction was infused with genuine warmth, elevating the dining experience to a level of refined hospitality. The menu, a veritable anthology of Mexican culinary treasures, unfolded a symphony of flavors that transcended the ordinary. The guacamole, a verdant masterpiece, was a perfect prelude to the culinary symphony that followed. Artfully presented, the sizzling fajitas exemplified the chef's mastery, combining textures and aromas in a harmonious dance on the palate. Libations were not just beverages; they were crafted elixirs that mirrored the sophistication of the cuisine. The margaritas, meticulously blended and served, became an integral part of the evening's narrative, adding a layer of indulgence to an already elevated experience. In essence, this gastronomic soiree was more than a meal; it was a celebration of culinary finesse, a testament to the nuanced artistry that defines this establishment. As I left, sated and enamored, I couldn't help but anticipate the prospect of returning to relive, once again, the exquisite tapestry woven by this remarkable Mexican culinary haven.
