Spicy beef noodles: $15 + Extra noodles (not shown in picture) $2.50
Chengdu ZaJiang Noodles: $13.00 + extra egg $2.00
Steamed egg: $4.50
Free parking underground and there are quite a few tables if coming with a small family. However, it can get pretty crowded as the tables are pretty close to each other.
The waiter told us to sit anywhere and order through the QR code on the table. There aren't physical menus, everything is online. Service was ok as we didn't interact with the waiter much.
The steamed egg came out pretty fast. The egg was very silky and smooth. It was a good combine with the minced pork, however, there is a strong taste of Chinese cooking wine so if you're not use to that flavor it might throw you off. 4/5 would recommend.
We got the spicy beef noodles L4 spice with an extra side of noodles based on someone else's review. However, the portion itself was enough for one since it is very filling and heavy. The noodles and broth was very flavorful. L4 spice is just enough spice with a kick where you will still get both the spice and flavor of the broth. 5/5 would recommend.
Chengdu ZaJiang Noodles L1 spice + extra egg was a broth less noodle. Very flavorful once mixed with the sauce on the bottom. I think they use the same type of minced pork from the steamed egg on the noodles. The fried egg was cold which I assume they make it prior to cooking the noodles. This dish may not look like a lot, however, it was very filling and delicious. 5/5 would recommend.
Overall, I would recommend trying this place. The prices are pretty reasonable for what you get. If compared to PpPop's spicy beef noodles. I would definitely get Mian's as it was more flavorful and the noodles are easier to separate and eat. Next time, I am interested in trying their chili oil Chao shou and rice noodles.

Broth was good but the pig intestines too hard.
Been back and will be back.
I always recommend Mian to my friends if they're looking for good spicy beef noodles, chili oil wonton, and steamed egg. You can't go wrong with any of those dishes, and the steamed egg is always a 500/10. Their food never disappoints, so good and comforting and their spice levels are always on point.
Food is so fun to eat. Those dry noodles are THICC. Amateur chopstick lovers prepare to get humbled lol the pork dumplings with Szechwan peppers are excellent - sweet. Beef noodle hits all your spots - comforting, not too heavy, tender beef chunks, and bok choy to clean it all up.
There’s an order of 3 sides w' wood ear mushrooms, radish, and something else... Yo - it's the BEST Way I've eaten wood ear mushrooms. Chilled with ginger/oil. As a mushroom lover it's my least favorite for being too rubbery but theyade me a changed man

Overall the flavors remain good, not excellent or outstanding -- nothing really "popped" on this visit. The spice levels are on the low side, and ordered something level 4 only to ask for additional chilli oil. I highly recommend the level 5 (maximum) cold noodles. The side of ribs is really good value, especially with a little extra chili. I miss the little metal mung bean tea mugs. The wait staff was helpful, attentive, and patient with my large party including children and elderly. The online ordering system was somewhat random (not a very common PoS system, a bit confusing to use) and felt very impersonal, a lot like being in China. Overall the experience was a solid 4 stars. The clean and warm decor pushed it up to a 4.2.

Mian restaurant has noodles like no other in the San Gabriel valley. I like the very spicy noodles. Mian located in a plaza. The renovation is modern.

Food was good but don't expect much service, specialy when you are not asian. Waiter just brought the food and end of my meal he came to me for payment, never asked if food was ok or if we need more water etc. No smile. On top of that he asks me if I am going to leave a cash tip. Total no respect. I will never EVER go back there.

Authentic, spicy, and absolutely delicious! This place nails it with their noodles—perfectly cooked with the right amount of kick. The flavors are bold, just like you’d expect from a top-tier Chinese noodle spot. The atmosphere is clean and inviting, making it a great place to enjoy a hearty meal. If you’re craving authentic Chinese noodles with a real punch, this is the spot.

Mian is our regular go-to restaurant. Our children have a preference for their zha Jiang mian, chicken soup noodle, steamed eggs and crispy pork. For us, we enjoy the spicy sour beef noodle. Occasionally, we may add side noodles to it and they will add soup if you request. The ordering process through QR code is straightforward and simple. Our servers are proficient in English, which can potentially alleviate any issues that might arise due to incorrect food choices.

Originally from Vancouver and went on a vacation to LA and my friends friend recommended this place. For the price it’s very affordable and portions are huge. Service is good too. The only downside is that it’s quite far especially if you’re coming down from downtown LA but overall pretty worth it!
