Hot high 80's day? A popsicle sounds great!Located across from Mission San Gabriel, Nomad Ice Pops looked to be a refreshing solution on a hot Fall day. Being Dia de los Muertos/Halloween season, Nomad Ice Pops had some popsicles shaped like skulls. After perusing the menu, horchata stood out & compelled a purchase.Horchata ($3.50)-Sabroso! Horchata was one of my favorite drinks, when I didn't care about sugar, calories, good health, diabetes. Heck, I remember I bought a large horchata from a former Albertaco's in Hawaiian Gardens, only to come back in a hour or so & buy another one. For shame! Anyhoo, Nomad Ice Pops' dairy-free horchata popsicle had all the taste & flavors of horchata that I remembered. It was frozen solid, meaning it didn't melt at all on a high 80's day. I ate the whole popsicle one bite at a time, which made things less messy.Service was good. Nomad Ice Pops operates as a takeout window. Parking is via street or at Mission San Gabriel.Nomad Ice Pops cooled me off on a hot day. I enjoyed my horchata popsicle & appreciated how solid it remained while consuming it. Nomad Ice Pops is a great option when looking for a sweet frozen treat.

We drive almost an hour to get Nomad Ice Pops, and they're worth it. It's one of my all time favorite treats.

I used Nomad’s catering service for my daughter’s birthday and it was awesome! The morning of her party, we picked up a cooler filled with five different flavors of ice pops that were labeled and separated in bags by flavor. The cooler was packed with care and everything was ice cold for hours thanks to the optional dry ice block I added to my order. Guests raved about the intensity and depth of the flavors (Vietnamese coffee, chocolate, watermelon, mango, and strawberry mint dipped in chocolate). It was so easy communicating with Geoff to place the order and coordinate pickup. I would 100% use them again for future events!

I can't speak to service at the actual location, but they were hired for a private function for a Pride Party and the two attendants that accommodated the ice cream cart were less than stellar. During set up a few of our staff went to then to inquire about the flavors and the female unwillingly pulled out the menu. Then as the party opened to guests, both were sitting in one of the party lounge areas on their phone. Finally when they were asked to roam the party and actually do their jobs, the male pushed around the cart as if it was a chore while the female followed with a horrible stank face.Would never hire again! However, their ice cream was delicious.

NTS: call ahead to see if they have pupsicles (popsicles made specifically for pups).I was a little bummed that they didn't have any pupsicles when I went but completely understandable. They had a huge order they needed to fulfill and couldn't make more pupsicles. I appreciated that the person helping us explained why they didn't have any, honestly I'm just happy to hear that they're too busy to make them because that means they're getting orders. I've been seeing a lot of businesses close down recently and I really hope nomad stays in business!Anyway, we opted to still get ourselves a treat and for the mango and guava lime flavors. Both were delicious and refreshing. You can really taste that the ingredients are fresh and it's not overly sweet! Perfect for a quick snack in the summer heat.Def recommend this spot if you're in the area! They have rotating flavors too so there's always new flavors to try! (:

No(being)mad when you stumble across delicious ice pops on a warm summer day! I haven't been to the San Gabriel location yet but I was able to try their popsicle for the first time at the LA State Historic Park Farmers Market this Thursday. I chose to go for their Vanilla Coconut Raspberry ice pop which was perfectly sweet and unique combo after walking through the farmers market, very natural tasting and refreshing! They had an adorable cart set up in the farmers market with a staff member sitting close by to the side of it. There was surprisingly not a line given the warm temperature so service was quick. It is very handy that they include a cupcake liner with the popsicle to catch any potential melting. I thought it was a bit expensive at $5 per pop but I got EBT market match and was able to use my EBT dollars. I quite enjoyed my ice pop in the park. I definitely recommend to support a local business which gives back to the community!

I LOVE nomad ice pops!! Every ice pop we've tried here have been so good. I learned recently that they have a PUP-sicle for doggies and no lie, I got one for my dog to try, and he devoured it and was so happy, I got two more to keep in my freezer for him. The service is so efficient and it's such a sweet treat to have on a hot day, or even a mildly sunny day.

We've been fans of Nomad Ice Pops from the beginning. Over the years, they've expanded their range of amazing flavors, while retaining and respecting their classics, as well. Among our favorites: chocolate (like a fudgcicle from your childhood days, but 100x better), watermelon, peanut butter, mango, and strawberry. They also offer really cool seasonal blends and use specialty ingredients. One thing Nomad does that I found lacking in many other small mom and pop (pun intended) businesses is the flexibility that their catering side brings to the table. They can customize flavors, colors, even the popsicle sticks themselves. They can white label them and make them look like they're from whatever your business is. They even make boozy pops for fun parties, and events. All the while, the service is impeccable. Stop by their cute little shop across from the Mission in San Gabriel. Or you could follow them on social media to see what events they'll pop up at (pun also intended). I've run into their stands at farmers markets, concerts, art festivals, and heard from other people about their pops on television and film sets. Never pass up a chance to try hand-made, delicious treats without the fillers and chemicals!

Cute place with friendly and helpful service. It's a walk-up window where you can grab your items and sit on any of the nearby outdoor seating, of which there is a decent amount within walking distance.I ordered the Banana Chocolate Pop and my husband ordered the Strawberry Mint Chocolate Pop. Each one was flavorful and delicious -- you could taste the fresh fruit chunks and notable lack of artificial flavors or sweeteners. The employee at the window gave us a helpful tip that the chocolate coating on the outside of each pop was real chocolate and not some magic shell equivalent with weird emulsifiers, so he cautioned that the coating could break off easily as we ate our pops, and to be mindful. I will definitely be back, especially with hot LA summer days ahead!

Nomad Pops was amazing from beginning to end . They responded to my inquiry in a timely manner, answered all my questions and provided a quote . On the day of the event they arrived on time , and John was friendly, helpful and accommodating. Thank you John! Pops were delicious and unique. Can’t wait to book them again …. Once the weather warms up !!?

I'm not usually a popsicle gal, but I've been wanting to try Nomad for so long. Because I love creamy treats (ice cream is my usual frozen treat of choice), I chose the vanilla coconut with blueberry. It hit the spot, and I loved it so much! I'll be back to try the other popsicle flavors on the menu.
