They're small so you can eat a bigger variety, that's what I prefer. Second time was for the bakery. Their bread is so good, and whatever you call their round buns with the sugar on it, is the best I've had.

Phenomenal vietnamese sandwiches. The pate is delicious and what also helps perfect the sandwich. Service is great. The only thing that would make it better is if they had tables to sit and eat right there. Regardless it's my go-to for banh mi sandwiches.

Don't buy Vietnamese sandwiches anywhere else! This is the place. We usually order more than we need to pass around to our relatives.

Line out the door. Good looking eggrolls. We ordered sandwiches here. Fresh croissants! Fast service. Even with 10 people before us in line.

I'm a regular customer, usually opting for the Grilled Pork Banh Mi and Shrimp Spring Rolls. The Grilled Pork Banh Mi is a substantial sandwich, with tender, well-seasoned pork and crisp, fresh veggies inside a great baguette. It's a filling and satisfying choice.Their Shrimp Spring Rolls are fresh and come with a flavorful peanut dipping sauce, making them a nice complement to the banh mi.What stands out at Saigon Bakery is the value. You get a lot for your money, and the flavors are on point.

I've always loved the fact that the sandwiches made here weren't like certain chains, that have this weird "modern" twist of skimming on that baguette, marketing it as "low-carb". But I'm also sad that compared to 10 years ago, the prices have increased by 320%!!! That's CRAZY! I honestly hope that this means that they're paying their people a liveable wage though. Price-wise, they've lost advantage to other places outside the area --as in, I'd expect to pay such prices in more affluent areas with less of a Vietnamese population, let's just say. BUT, I think taste-wise, they're still better than any of those other places. Now compared to the competition in this area? Hard to say. Still good, but no longer my go-to cheap meal.

Woke up early and decided to visit Saigon Bakery and Sandwiches.Haven't had Banh Mi in a very long time. The pricing was super affordable at $7.00 for the Banh Mi. Upon entering, the eatery was inviting and had customers already waiting for their Banh Mi.I ordered the following:1. Meat Egg Roll 3/5: decent, crispy, oily 2. Chicken Pie 3/5: a nice bite to it 3. Saigon Special Banh Mi 4/5: fresh, the bread has a nice crunch to it4. Beef Banh Mi 4/5They sell an assorted array of Vietnamese goodies as well.

To repeat everyone else's sentiment, their fresh banh mi is SPECTACULAR! They serve their banh mi in both the French-style long baguette and also the traditional Viet street-food style softer/fluffier bread. I believe both are fresh and made in-house.We got the #2 thit nuong (grilled pork) and the #4 nem bo nuong (grilled beef sausage). Personally, I think the meat could be better in both - the pork can be more grilled/smokier and the beef sausage lacked flavor. However, everything else was superb!! I'm a stickler for CRONCH when it comes to the pickled veggies. I like that theirs is matchstick-sized for better textured compared to some other places that shred their veggies into thinner strips. They're also generous with the cilantro and jalapenos which are my two favorite toppings. What really makes this place 5-stars is their snacks. We grabbed some crispy rice w/ pork floss and banana w/ stick rice and black beans steamed in banana leaves for our camping trip. They're soooo good!!I paid with card and even though there's a sign that says "$15 min to use card," I didn't have any issues with my $14 purchase. The food came out quickly. Staff speaks both English and Viet which I appreciate (since I like to practice my Viet, but also be able to easily recommend this place to friends). They have a very convenient parking lot right next to their building or you can park in the huge supermarket parking lot adjoining them. Highly recommend!

This place is my absolute favorite banh mi shop in the 626. First, their bread is probably the best I've had from anywhere. They offer the usual baguettes and also shorter, wider versions that've never seen before. Both shapes offer the same flavor and portions, just in different shapes. I've seen people coming in just for the bread and croissants alone, a testament to how good they are. The filling-to-bread ratio is spot-on. Just a heads-up, they do go a little heavy on the cilantro, so if that's not your thing, it's something to keep in mind. They also offer a selection of Vietnamese sides and desserts. The offerings might vary depending on the day's supply, but the xoi banh kep, che thai, and pandan cake are personal favorites. All the food selections are super affordable too, with no compromise on taste or quality. And if you're on a tight schedule, this is your dream spot. The service is always quick so you can be in and out within minutes. Parking also isn't a concern with a small private lot located right next to the building.
