the worst tacos 🌮 I’ve ever eaten. The meat tasted like cardboard. The meat is so dry no flavor. The pork meat was hanging and didn’t even turn. the meat was being heated by the sunlight and a torch. The meat seems to be getting bacteria 🦠 because of being exposed to open air. This taco stand is “All Show” and no talent in their foods. People can get sick eating here. Plus the people working there don’t seem to be happy. It’s my 1st time and Last time going there.

Omg, hands down the best tacos in the 626. And trust me, I’ve had my fair share from TJ Tacos to Tacos El Gordo in San Diego and even Taco El Franc. This spot is legit. The line every night says it all.

This time, I ordered the baked potato with cheese and lengua (tongue). Absolute perfection. They serve it with handmade corn tortillas that take everything to another level. The meats here are packed with flavor. My usual go-tos are the al pastor, cabeza (cow’s head meat), and tripas (beef intestine). Next visit, I’m eyeing the sausages, stomach, and carne asada.

And their salsa? To die for. It’s fresh, spicy, and ties everything together perfectly.

The team here is friendly and clearly takes pride in what they do. You can taste the care in every bite.

They’re parked right on San Gabriel Blvd with a solid setup. The ambiance is just right, and honestly, the only thing missing is some outdoor dining space.

Parking is free and easy on the street.

OK the tacos are pretty good. Order the tacos Al pastor. Green salsa is so good. I loved the passion fruit drink. The churro place next door is delicious too.

Warning to tourists, foreigners, out of towners:

Found from google maps. First time here, visiting from out of town, no idea how to order and brought tourists. Food decent, but the chef isn't welcoming and was impatient to tourists, foreigners, out of town visitors asking questions about the menu.

Don't come here unless you're a local or familiar with how to order. If you're new, bring a local friend to help.

The stand in front of Target 2miles down was more welcoming to questions being asked about the food.

I’ve been coming here for 3-5 months and was excited to find a new taco stand that initially had really good SAFE food. Unfortunately, me and my family sustained food poisoning from their pastor tacos and asada burritos. I’ve never had food poisoning before but it’s been ongoing for 5 days now. I’ve seen reviews on yelp and other people have experienced similar issues when eating their food. It appears food safety and cleanliness isn’t their priority. Food quality has diminished and prices have risen. Plus I have non stop diarrhea! We won’t be returning.

Everything was excellent and very affordable. All the salsas were awesome, and we got al pastor and chicken tacos, with a side of rice and beans. The tortillas were also very fresh.

I love that they have buche, and the suadero was god, but the al pastor was terrible! The spinning cone of meat wasn't spinning, and I think they were heating it with the power of the sun. So the sun would burn one side of the meat, the guy tending to it would spin it, cut off all the burnt meat, SERVE that, and then proceed to let the other side burn to a crisp.
Good service, I liked the other meats, and the salsa was...good. But pastor was horrible, and I don't plan to go back. Oh, another con was the somewhat haphazard way of ordering.

Al pastor was good but a little salty imo. Horchata was a great compliment to the salty + spicy tacos/condiments. Small fee added for CC payments. I hope you guys get the success you deserve.

Come early to enjoy one of the best street taco Al Carbon. All other street tacos make the carne asada in the grill, Secret Tacos Tomas make is in the open fire, that is a huge difference in taste. The home made tortillas are delicious. Great prices.

Tacos are good. Always go for the pastor. Condiments are plentiful.

Only issues: single, small and thin tortillas used for tacos. They need to be double because they break easily. Secondly, the lady taking payments has an attitude. Lighten up.

Al pastor with the pineapples, that was the winner. Tacos are great and we saw the guy get a burrito after us and we all thought we should have gotten that, that thing looked amazing. It takes a bit to get your food though since the line is long, but this spot is worth the wait.
