Really delicious when chef is on it. Long-time customer since they opened in San Gabriel. Unfortunately inconsistent quality, understaffing make this place hit-or-miss. I rarely eat in due to understaffing - bussing & cleaning take a while. 85-90% of the time pretty good TW deli food. I go there every 1-2 months.
I esp like their sticky rice rolls fantuan, sticky rice wrapped in bamboo zongzi, turnip cakes luobogao, onion pancakes congyoubing, black sesame pastry, green onion pastry xiekehuang. Their garlic soy sauce is delish!

It’s more diluted soy milk compared to other homemade soy-milk shops.

Very disappointed with this place.
It’s very dark inside, not enough lights and the counter are empty.
Food is not properly made, very greasy, the dumpling wrappers are very hard and dry.
Bad service.
Never be back.

Located not far from nationally recognized Huge Tree Pastry stands Four Sea Restaurant, Si Hai to locals who know it for sweet or salty Soy Milk plus Buns and Pastries ordered at the counter.
True to Taiwanese traditions, hours from 6:30am until 1:00pm daily finding the space with a continuous stream of traffic, guests are invited to choose from the bilingual overhead menu or a laminated card featuring the names and descriptions of items prepared fast.
Low priced compared to a Breakfast in Los Angeles, portion sizes mostly shareable, fans of Soy Milk will find Four Sea’s in an enormous bowl ideal for dipping Donuts while Pastries from a heated case are highlighted by the Radish version or sweeter Red Bean Paste.
Found at 708 East Las Tunas Drive, easily missed by those not looking, Fan Tuan is faultless in its balance of taste and texture while the Fried Onion Cake is heavier than many but not too oily and served piping hot from the skillet.

What kind of fried dough sticks is this! Hard and unpalatable! It's basically made of stone! Is that right? It costs more than 3 yuan a piece? Really cheating! Don’t buy it, everyone!

The youtiao is cold and hard, resulting in a very poor texture.

Only 1 of 3 youtiao that I ordered is fresh, the rest two are so old. Tastes like leftover.

I ordered two soy milks for takeout, but only one cup was delivered. I was told that I would have time to make up a cup another day. Who has time every day? Where can I find you to make up a cup of soy milk? Please check before the next delivery.
For the Chinese pancakes, it's hard to imagine how oily it is!!! The box, the plastic bag and the food itself are all covered with oil. When taking a bite, the pancake has almost no taste but oil inside. Lack of the taste of Onion and no sauce included. The taste is too plain. Hard to imagine how they keep popular with the higher and higher price of the food.
