A little nostalgic when you can visit a regular lunch spot for a couple of decades. Great local spot with absolutely great sandwiches. Service is super friendly and s quick. I highly recommended the corned beef on rye. Enjoy all of liquor memorabilia. Great local jewel.

The most memorable, and satisfying eatery of my 59 years, and fondest childhood memory.

This is a place where you had to before you die. The owner Lady makes a sandwich for you exactly like you want it composed. After you ordered Sandwich you can choose a extraordinary beer which you don’t find anywhere else. Have a Ruben sub with a Belgian Trappist Beer… This makes your Lunch break an adventure you will not forget!

2.5 stars. Biking across New Mexico some years ago, I came across a diner run only by seniors. Old plastic chairs, tacky decor but I love it. This spot had that charm. Food’s way overpriced though, tiny subs, sliced my pickle into millimeter wide whispers. Might return for drinks, but not the food

Best sandwiches. Fantastic selection of craft beers. If you like to try different beers, this is the place. Great selection on tap as well as cans and bottles.

Excellent sandwiches, friendly service, a massive selection of beer, and plenty of beer paraphernalia for sale. A true diamond in the rough.

What a delicious welcome surprise. I felt time warped back to an old friend’s basement. The beer selection was incredible. The mortadella on French roll felt like a warm hug. Can’t wait to come back ?

Truly a gem of a sandwich shop. The decor and atmosphere feels straight out of a 70’s movie and I felt like the main character!!I ordered the half All-cheese sandwich with everything on it and it was extremely satisfying! Perfect option for a vegetarian (which is hard to come by at other sandwich shops)I also got a mini size of the Chocolate fudge stout which was a rotating tap for the month to honor Porters and Stouts ? It was amazing and only $2.50I left feeling so pampered and so well taken care of! ? Can’t wait to make this my regular spot and I already find it impossible to place another sandwich order anywhere else.

I've lived a few blocks away.from TSS for 20 years. I love good beer. Why did I wait so long to come here. I had a great RB sandwich with the works + horseradish and a side of potato salad. Both were great, loved that they had horseradish as an option! The beer selection was mond boggling. Lots of fantastic choices, and I'm pretty hard to impress. Good food, good service, family, old school atmosphere, and more really choice beers than I could begin to name. I am impressed. Be back asap.

The beer selection is fantastic! The food is very high priced, the atmosphere has character, with beer memorabilia all around. The owner says she makes all of her own food. I had the chicken tortilla soup ( kind of greasy but flavorful) and homemade macaroni salad. My friends had sandwiches. A half is $10, and a full sandwich is $20. I would still support this place. The owner is kind, and the selection is huge!

After my last pastrami fiasco, I searched for "best pastrami" and this place popped up. So glad it did! This pastrami takes me back with simple but delicious flavors. Dipped like the old days! Cold beer, with lots to choose from. Will be back to see what's on tap each month.
