Their service is fabulous! Very friendly, a hang spot for many, plus quick to-go service. Donuts used to be the best around, but now aren't always as good. Hit and miss. I don't know if it's the frying oils, but the residue is noticeable in the taste.

I do really like it here the owner is super friendly not rude like other owners, his lady making the sandwiches is super nice as well and helps as a Spanish translator, if that helps, the donuts are absolutely fresh and fluffy and the croissants are super super delicious fluffy and crispy!! I like to eat here once in a while when I’m craving a good breakfast before work , he’s always busy and everybody seems to know him and I don’t think I have seen anyone not buy a dozen donuts here !! 5 stars highly recommend !!

Just your average donut. Pros: it was early evening and donuts were still kinda fresh. Cons: saw 2 fruit flies inside the donut display.
Now, I’ve had had street food before so I wasn’t immediately turned off but I hoped the ones I specifically asked for didn’t have fly poop on them.
Lastly after waiting around for someone to help me, of course I get over charged. Didn’t care to argue because it seems they might need the extra dollar more than I do.
Doubt I’ll return.

The Donuts are really sugary and delicious. Perfect for sugar high! The donut designs are very basic, traditional decorated donuts. 🍩
The service is excellent. All the service workers have great vibes and just great customer service. The atmosphere is a plain old school donut shop. Although the tv is always on and loud but that's ok. I dined in. I ordered an espresso and expected a shot, in which i wanted, and i got a really strong cut of what it seemed to look like 8 espressos. lol 😂
i took a few sips and it was enough.
The donuts tasted like they used fresh oil to fry them everyday, unlike some other donut shop that taste like they used old stale oil. Uncle Joes donuts tastes fresh and the oil tasted fresh. Don't know how to explain it, but using fresh oil is important. So i'm definitely going back.
I order three donuts and an espresso for about $10, sweet deal.
It's perfect in everyday and a treasure in this neighborhood, especially in walking distance. 🥰
This is one of the Asian owned Donut places that are pretty prevalent in Southern California. I got an old fashioned donut and a chocolate chip donut. The chocolate chip donut was huge, but it's honestly just a really big donut with a bit of chocolate filling, and chocolate chip on top. So, I thought it was just okay. The old fashioned was pretty nice. Maybe not mine blowing, compared to other places I've been to, but I liked it. The staff was pretty friendly, and there didn't seem to be a big line here, so I was able to get my stuff fast. In general, this is maybe a decent place to stop by for a quick Donut, so worth a try, but nothing really to go out of your way to get to.
Good place for a breakfast sandwich. My son got a pastrami croissant sandwich and he enjoyed it. Didn't try their donuts but they looked very fresh and tempting. Spacious and clean place with a TV .
I used to go to Uncle Joe's in the 1980's to the old Donut stand location. It looks like it got taken away when Gabrielino high school was built. The new location is farther north, just a little bit past El

Came to check out this place after visiting a friend in the area. It seems like this spot is well-known by the locals and it was quite busy at 10 AM on a Sunday.
Got a classic glazed ring donut and a ham and cheese croissant. Donut was soft and although it had a bit more dough than I like, the glaze had a nice flavor to it. The croissant was delicious and compared to other shops, it was not greasy at all.
Would visit again. Ran by a hardworking couple…worth supporting the small businesses.

Cool little old school donut shop with repeat customers the lady who runs it was very polite but she sold me a very old donut it was rock hard when I took it back she offered to heat up for me like that would fix it ? ? But I asked for a fresh donut and she did replace it with a fresh donut that was good I'm giving this place 3stars because even though the fresh donuts are good she knowingly sold me a week old donut
Best donuts around for the money, but service is sort of slow.
