Best donuts , best coffee , best ………………………
The Donuts are really sugary and delicious. Perfect for sugar high! The donut designs are very basic, traditional decorated donuts. 🍩
The service is excellent. All the service workers have great vibes and just great customer service. The atmosphere is a plain old school donut shop. Although the tv is always on and loud but that's ok. I dined in. I ordered an espresso and expected a shot, in which i wanted, and i got a really strong cut of what it seemed to look like 8 espressos. lol 😂
i took a few sips and it was enough.
The donuts tasted like they used fresh oil to fry them everyday, unlike some other donut shop that taste like they used old stale oil. Uncle Joes donuts tastes fresh and the oil tasted fresh. Don't know how to explain it, but using fresh oil is important. So i'm definitely going back.
I order three donuts and an espresso for about $10, sweet deal.
It's perfect in everyday and a treasure in this neighborhood, especially in walking distance. 🥰
This is one of the Asian owned Donut places that are pretty prevalent in Southern California. I got an old fashioned donut and a chocolate chip donut. The chocolate chip donut was huge, but it's honestly just a really big donut with a bit of chocolate filling, and chocolate chip on top. So, I thought it was just okay. The old fashioned was pretty nice. Maybe not mine blowing, compared to other places I've been to, but I liked it. The staff was pretty friendly, and there didn't seem to be a big line here, so I was able to get my stuff fast. In general, this is maybe a decent place to stop by for a quick Donut, so worth a try, but nothing really to go out of your way to get to.
Good place for a breakfast sandwich. My son got a pastrami croissant sandwich and he enjoyed it. Didn't try their donuts but they looked very fresh and tempting. Spacious and clean place with a TV .
I used to go to Uncle Joe's in the 1980's to the old Donut stand location. It looks like it got taken away when Gabrielino high school was built. The new location is farther north, just a little bit past El

Came to check out this place after visiting a friend in the area. It seems like this spot is well-known by the locals and it was quite busy at 10 AM on a Sunday.
Got a classic glazed ring donut and a ham and cheese croissant. Donut was soft and although it had a bit more dough than I like, the glaze had a nice flavor to it. The croissant was delicious and compared to other shops, it was not greasy at all.
Would visit again. Ran by a hardworking couple…worth supporting the small businesses.

Cool little old school donut shop with repeat customers the lady who runs it was very polite but she sold me a very old donut it was rock hard when I took it back she offered to heat up for me like that would fix it ? ? But I asked for a fresh donut and she did replace it with a fresh donut that was good I'm giving this place 3stars because even though the fresh donuts are good she knowingly sold me a week old donut
Best donuts around for the money, but service is sort of slow.

THIS IS AN UPDATE: 02/21/2024! Been coming to Uncle Joe's Donuts for many years now. Folks! If you haven't experienced an Uncle Joe's Donut?!! WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR??!! Well, we're only on this earth for borrowed time, so if and when you do get in there and see what I'm talking about, it'll be like you're in heaven, may I say?they are located on San Gabriel Blvd/ El Monte St, in the Barrio San Gabriel aka SG. . They Are one of my best donut places of all time.. They usually have what I'm looking for in a donut, keep in mind, after like 6 or 7, they tend to run low on choice donuts since they close at 10 pm. All the other Mom and Pops places close at 3 or 5 pm. With thee exception of Yum Yum which we're not talking about them. Lol! With either a glass of milk, cocoa, and or coffee. They hit the spot . This is Chuy aka Jesse Viramontes Big Sneeks1 from SanGra- Where I came from. The place I know all too well. ORALE, with Respect.
