Food is tasty and comes in huge portions. We spent about $50+ on three dishes plus rice for two and had enough leftovers for five more meals.

This new location seems smaller than their previous spot. Doesn't seem they're fully set up yet as we got disposable bowls for rice and individual disposable cups for hot tea ($1.50 per person).
Food is still consistent though! Mushroom in brown sauce ($12.95), vege fish in brown sauce ($12.50), and tofu pumpkin hot pot ($12.95) are still good choices and they're all on the lunch special menu!
Surface level parking in the plaza gets congested very easily, so try the 2 levels of underground parking for more spots.
Great value. Tasty food;

I've been here about 4 times now, and it might be my favorite Buddhist vegetarian-friendly restaurant in the SGV. The waiters are super sweet, and the restaurant is clean.
I love my meat, but I never refuse whenever family wants to come here because their versions of my favorite food are JUST THAT GOOD.
Among my favorite items are the fried oyster mushrooms, veggie shrimp rolls, vege kidney with basil! Would highly recommend.

Basil with egg plant & soft tofu was excellent! My favorite was the salt/spicy fried mushrooms!! It was lightly fried , crispy oiliness! The congee with Japanese melon was creamy & smooth.. but the Kong pai chicken was not good! Both the texture of the chicken and instead of using green/red pepper, they used this kind of cucumbers..

My family came here before, and loved it so much they made us drive 1 hour 10 through LA traffic to come again. All vegetarian (some contain eggs, clearly marked), mostly vegan. First class food. The best was the Vege Fish with Pine Nuts; but even the Chopped Mustard with Tofu Skin was excellent. The other tables were all filled with Chinese people - it looks popular. Liked:
* A big variety of vegetarian dishes and tastes to choose from, including mock meat and fish
* Unpretentious, simple, good food
* Speedy, friendly service
This isn't a fancy place - tucked upstairs in a dingy, dated plaza. A reliable neighbourhood gem for Chinese style vegetarian quick meals.

First time at Veggie Valley. I'm impressed with the decor and the service. Parking is available at the underground garage if not available in the open air lot. This restaurant used to be at Focus Plaza and has a rich history from their Taiwanese owners. The green beans are sauteed perfectly. The fried oyster mushrooms are so good, we got it without the egg wash and it is still so flavorful. As is the sweet and sour mushrooms. I really liked the flavor of the eggplant tofu and the kung pao soy chicken. Great food and a perfect location for vegetarian food.

The best vegan Chinese in San Gabriel Valley. Plenty of variety and flavor. The service is friendly and relatively fast. Be prepared to wait for a table on the weekends, though.

They have a lunch menu which is available 7 days a week. Lunch menu dishes are not as steamy hot as those on the dinner menu
