1 star review for customer service and rudeness. If you dont speak chinese they have hard time understanding you and actually give you an attitude. It started when I asked for a female black chicken and the young lady gave me a brown chicken. I told her black please and female. She said female but then I said black female. She made a disgusted sound like it was so hard to go two steps and switch chickens. So she got me a black chicken and said no female. Ok then i asked her any organs ? She had no clue what that meant and after several attempts she got frustrated and asked her co worker to help she had no clue what I wanted. The co worker said no organs for black chicken. Ok I walked out and confirmed with my wife if its ok for black chicken to be male. She said no for the soup she needed female so if no choice get the brown chicken and return the black one. Ok I went back and asked them i wanted the female then they both go nuts especially the young lady speaking in cantonese, which i understand more than speak , making a big fuss. I apologized but to no avail saying you should know what chicken you want before you buy whats wrong with you. Duh I asked but the young worker had no clue and did not answer any questions. Finally I got the brown chicken but not before getting more feedback causing them trouble. The older lady said i thought you wanted black female. I said yes but she said no female black. So who knows the truth and is it really female black or they just want to get rid of me and say whatever. Work there must be depressing for these two employees to be so easily agitated for a simple request. My suggestion to the young women learn some basic words like male female organs heart etc. Its not that hard and dont be so rude since i will never return here or recommend it and it may not affect the store much since alot of older asians frequent here for convenience since the next closest chicken market is 15-20 minutes away.

Mom always comes here for the fresh chickens and specialty poultry. They also have silky chickens and their eggs as well as regular and other specialty eggs. It's on the pricy side but that's inflation for y'all. See pics for products. Parking lot fits 4-5 cars next to it.

This is the best place for fresh poultry in San Gabriel Valley.... I used to drive all the way to Chinatown, no longer! This location is clean, efficient, fresh product selections, and the cashier is always welcoming and helpful. Cash only, limited parking. Still, two thumbs up!

I like coming here for the fresh, raw poultry whenever my Mom makes her herbal chicken soups or Pho Ga. Best all, this location is closer to my house, and so I'm not having to drive all the way to Chinatown or El Monte. CASH ONLY JOINT Parking: Small dedicated parking lot as well as street parking. Wing On Market is located on Las Tunas Drive and San Gabriel Boulevard, right next to Wing Lin Kwan (CPA) and right across from Cathy's Bakery and Mobil Gas Station. The place before it was a Mom and Pop electronic repair shop that my Dad once had a repairman come over and fix our huge old-skool TV. In addition to raw poultry, there's also a small grocery shop inside (assorted veggies, eggs, Asian sauces, spices/powder, etc). The raw poultry here are large, fresh and hardly ever bruised. The shop itself is clean, nicely ventilated and sanitized. When you enter, you won't get a whiff of death in here (some poultry places have on-site slaughterhouses). COVID-19 Safety Procedures: All employees wear face masks and gloves. There's plexigass behind the cashier station, hand sanitizer is available and 6ft social distancing enforced. About five people are able to enter at a time. The place is opened from Mondays to Sundays from 9:30am to 2pm.
