Literally the most kindest employees, gave an extra Tayaki when someone dropped theirs. Not to mention the amazing free topping bar. 100 percent recommend. ??

Finally got the chance to try this dessert place after always passing by. I got the pure milk soft serve and 3 pieces of taiyaki in custard and red bean. The soft serve is a nice texture and it's very soft. The milk is a bit too sweet, in my opinion. And you can self serve on several toppings for the soft serve. The taiyaki is very good, just wish that it is a bit more crispy. They give a generous amount of filling inside the taiyaki. Inside is a small place. They only have a bench and a couple of stools. Overall, a great dessert place!

The name says it all! Yummy Soft Serve and Taiyaki, plus specialty drinks. Crafted "with LOVE" by friendly and efficient staff! In a fun and bright atmosphere. Craving Dole Whip? It's perfect here! Oh, and unlimited, free toppings!!

So happy this new dessert place opened up right here in San Gabriel. I think Taiyaki might be one of my favorite snacks/desserts that I for some reason forget about. I think that is because you can't really find them everywhere, which just makes this place all the more appreciated.I tried several of both the sweet & savory Taiyaki and I honestly cannot choose which was my favorite. But I will say the sausage & cheese as well as the custard really are two I can see myself ordering again and again. They were all freshly made so the great crisp and chewy textures are all there. There was also another with sausage and rice cake that I believe the owner said was inspired by her mom. You can hear the passion she has for her business. She was really a pleasure to chat with, and that's why I forgot to get some good pics of all the Taiyaki. Guess I'll have to take some nice pics next time.Oh and the soft serve they are cranking out at this place are all made from scratch, not from powers. They really looked fake (in a good way) when they came out just because of how nice the soft serve all looked, they know how to get that perfect swirl. For all you Dole Whip fans, they have it here and you can get it swirled with milk which I think makes it taste even better. There was even a seasonal pumpkin spice flavor that had a pleasant and real flavor compared to so many artificial pumpkin flavors I've had in other seasonal itemsThey are located right on Las Tunas in what used to be LABobatory, right next to Golden Deli. So as you might know there is a parking lot, that is often busy. But if you can't find a spot, you should be able to find some street/residential parking close by.I definitely recommended checking this place out and I'm happy I don't have to head into the always too-busy Little Tokyo for some quality Taiyaki.

There was plenty of parking in the lot when we came on a Saturday night around 8 pm. There were a lot of families waiting around for their orders, and we waited 15 minutes for our order of 3 croissant taiyaki to come out. These were quite large in size, and I only ate half of one. I loved the sugar crust and crispy edges but I think these would have been elevated with a filling, which sadly is not an option.

We went here just out of curiosity when my daughter was craving for some fish cone waffle. It was the closest one that we found that had great reviews. It's a pretty small space and somewhat clean. It probably needs just a little bit of tidying up inside. The employees were helpful and patient with us as we perused the menu. Ice cream was the soft-serve kind. It was perfect! The famous fish waffle was surprisingly addicting. It was crunchy and not over powerfully sweet. The toppings were free to your liking! Parking: ample parking is available Payment: cash / credit / contactless

I came here for the custard fish and my daughter got the mozzarella dog fish. The dough is thin and the custard is made just right. The cashier is sweet and courteous. She said you save $0.50 as you buy more. The ambience is cute and quaint. The parking is always busy so it's easier to park on the street. I highly recommend this place.

Not sure how this place stays in business. Dole whip prices increased from $4.50 to $5.50 and you barely get anything in a tiny cup. Over/under is 9 months before doors close.

We stumbled on this store looking for ice cream after lunch at the Thai restaurant nearby. They featured soft serve ice cream which was light in texture and milky. I ordered a Nutella Taiyaki which was made on the spot. They handed me the thing after five minutes and told me to wait a few minutes before taking a bite because the filling is very hot. My life changed a little bit with that bite. There is no description of what a Taiyaki is on the menu so I was pleasantly surprised. The filling is surrounded by a thin layer of mochi which itself was crisp on the outside. So texture upon texture upon texture. So addicting! Found out later that it originated in Japan in 1909 and is usually made using a pancake or waffle batter. The mochi version is a win IMO. I ordered a croissant Taiyaki to go with the intension of having it for breakfast tomorrow. There are chairs inside but no tables. Parking in front can be a challenge because Golden Deli next door can get crowded.

Been here a few times and normally good, but this is kind of ridiculous. I got a partially full smoothie. Very disappointing. Might be my last time here.

love the taiyaki ice cream here! comes out quickly and super kind staff. ive tried several flavors and my favorite has to be Black Sugar Drizzle on pure milk. unlimited toppings too! one downside if you order taiyaki separately (without ice cream) is that it's notably smaller than the taiyaki ordered with ice cream. overall cute ice cream spot!

We tried the mozzarella cheese taiyaki and the custard taiyaki. The texture was chewy like mochi with a crunchy outside. We also tried the red bean shake and the peach mango smoothie. Everything was very tasty.

The soft serve didn't have any matcha flavor whatsoever. The green color from the food dye was the only resemblance to matcha. It tasted more like berry-flavored formula used in vitamins or gum. Despite the friendly workers, the matcha soft serve was pretty gross. This will be my first and last time trying it..

Super tiny spot with plenty of parking. Seating inside isn't great. I ordered the soft serve with custard Taiyaki. The soft serve was yummy and the Taiyaki was okay. I wish it was warm and freshly made. I drove half an hour for something that was more about the photo op with the neon sign. Custome4 service was great though, and received my order in less than two minutes.
