Most of the food is quite sweet, and the waiter's attitude would have been nice to add some sugar. Say thank you with no response, no eye contact, no change in facial expression.

Ordered radish cakes, soy porridge. Soup dumplings, beef sandwich. The radish cakes were good and crispy outside, creamy inside. Soy porridge was not bad. Not particularly flavorful and the yu tiao (chinese donut) pieces seemed a bit stale. The beef sandwich was quite good, best enhanced with their "tiger sauce" for heat and flavor. Soup dumplings were quite good, if a bit small. The skin was thin and slippery (good) and had a bit of soup inside. I'd go back...

Firstly, I don't understand this place's bad reviews. I haven't tried a Taiwanese breakfast before, though I used to love their other food since it was served at boba places in the area when I was growing up in SGV.

I came in the other day to try Yi Mei's fried pork chop noodle soup and fan tuan. Personally, I felt the quality of food was very high. Despite it being a late lunch, I was already full after eating half of both, so I just saved...
