My friend told me about this place and I decided to take out my large family of 8 and had a great time! Food was very good and customer service was great until when paying I had a bill over $350 and asked if I get a side of cucumbers and the lady said “no you have some there already” pointing at the dish with 3 pieces of it and having 3 boxes of to-go. I said yes, but we are eating that and will need some to go which the older women who usually collect the money said we will charge you for it. I said why? She said because you have some already. I don’t know what’s the attitude for as I’m with my family with kids, and they are a handful already. I said okay then she never came to give me any service, and its automatic gratuity. Not only that, but I recommend everyone to come eat here as it's great food but be cautious of this older woman (collecting the payment) as she’s very moody and gave me a bad experience of this business otherwise as she also told the other employee to not give us the side I asked for. Simple side for a bill over $350

Food was delicious. All of the banchan was so good, I could’ve eaten that as a meal. My hubby and I had the beef+kimchi tofu soup and shared the bulgogi stone plate. They were both flavorful and fulfilling. Parking can get a little hectic on a Friday night, but it’s a decent sized parking lot. Expect there to be a wait but it does go by quickly. The staff was also very attentive and efficient. It seemed like they go around tables often to make sure everyone’s okay. Highly recommend!

#LATEPOST:I used to live in SGV over a decade ago. This time I was there visiting a friend. So, we met and ate here again. My mother ordered Jap Chae, It was very good, comparing to Jap Chae from other places that we ate from.My friend was a regular guest there, since he lives nearby, he ordered clam tofu soup with rice combo with Galbi. He enjoyed his order.I ordered Bulgogi Hot Stone Bibimbap.The taste of the bulgogi was not as great as what I remembered, and the bottom of the hot stone bowl was excessively greasy!I forgot to take pictures of the other items LOLCosted us almost $120 everything + tipsService was decent. The atmosphere was much better than the old interior design.

Love the side dish especially for the seaweed, squid, cucumber and kimchi. The seafood tofu soup is delicious and the bulgogi also. All the servers are very nice. Come early if you don't want to have long lines.

So tender is the young dong.Look, is the sundubu jjigae as legendary as Beverly Soon Tofu (RIP)? Probably not. But the kindness of the staff, ease of access/parking, and the solid galbi/bulgogi combos make it a worthwhile visit. We were nearby and ventured in with our 2 and 3yo (gasp!), and the staff couldn't have been kinder or more accommodating to us. Banchan is maybe a 6.5/10. Anyone looking for a satisfying soon tofu will not be disappointed.
