Great atmosphere lovely surroundings. Eat in or out. Wonderful breakfast. Would love the corned beef hash to re appear on the menu. Great service!
Two Bird Cafe is all around lovely. The location is beautiful in the middle of the San Geronimo Valley, surrounded by redwoods and beautiful woodsiness! The ambiance of the restaurant is quaint, inviting and warm and wonderful. The staff is super attentive and sweet and kind and the food is delicious! It was my first time going this week and I loved it and will definitely be back again.
We’ve started coming to Two Birds as a family for several weeks now, it’s become a Sunday Brunch tradition. Incredibly friendly staff with good food. The establishment could not be more cozy. Looking forward to many more Sunday’s here.
It seems like a quaint little cafe, but the experience went down hill. My mom asked the blonde "hostess", then I arrived, and we decided we wanted to sit outside, so I asked the "hostess", "Can we sit outside?" She raised her voice and replied impatiently, "Yes, I told her you can sit any where." Then she threw the menu on the table and left. A minute later, a man brought another menu, and immediately turned to leave. My mom wanted water, so she asked him. He didn't notice. She followed him, and he pointed to a board with the menu. No one asked us if we wanted anything to drink. I was angry, so I said we should leave, their attitude was horrible. So we left. As we were leaving, the "hostess" gave us a hostile look as she went over to clear our table. It turns out she was our waitress and supposedly dependent on us for her livelihood.
This wasn't the best cafe experience I've had, but I would return here. The food here is very good, although it is a little greasy. (The bread is slathered in butter, and even the chicken salad was slathered in oil. Not that I'm complaining... It was delicious!)The atmosphere is exceptional. They have wonderful indoor and outdoor dining facilities in a quaint shingle style building and patio. The wait staff were very inexperienced, though. The maître d' pointed us to a table, but by the time we walked over to it, another guest had claimed it, explaining that they needed to get out of the sun. The maître d' stood behind us and watched the whole thing, doing nothing until I awkwardly looked around for another table, pointed to the only available one I could find, and said, "would you like us to sit over there instead?" The table we landed at had some liquid and sticky stuff on it, and neither the maître d' nor our server took any initiative to wipe it up.
Friendly service and great food. Most breakfast items available at lunch and I had a great meal of Huevos Rancheros!
This is a regular lunch spot for me. I'm here every few weeks summer and winter. Big deck areas which are dog-friendly and they mean it.. I had an heirloom tomato BLT which, given the season, was delicious. My friend had a Western omelet. There is a whole list of special items in addition to the regular menu plus some pasta dishes which I like to go to.Inside, which is available again now, is rustic, spacious and,in winter, cosy with a log fire in the stove. Tony has run this place for years and maintains consistently high standards.
The food was fantastic, no doubt about that. I went yesterday with my wife after hiking in the local park, Samuel P. Taylor. I enjoyed a beautiful salad while my wife stuck with an omelette. The one thing that really irked me was the lack of a mask on one of the waitresses. I understand that it has been a long time I just think that when you interact with so many people, you should be wearing a mask to protect others. Wish I could give it five but Covid is not a joke and we are still in a pandemic.
Nice hidden gem
Cute place. Friendly and attentive staff. Good food.

This restaurant gives great service as well as delicious food. My favourite place around town. The meals came out rapidly and the rates were reasonable. Highly recommended.
My favorite breakfast spot in Marin! The owner Tony uses a lot of locally sourced, fresh ingredients and it really shows. Expect hearty portions & delicious daily specials in a wooded road-side setting.
Good place to stop by for brunch on the way to Tómales bay. Everything was good, service attentive. You get what you expect, nice stuff!
I absolutely love this place! Especially the friendliness of the wait staff and this setting between hills in Marin county.I often take my dog with me and sit on the patio and enjoy a bit of shade and a bit of sun. Hesitated to leave such a glowing review because I would secretly delight in this place not being discovered so it won't be too crowded in the future, however I love this business so much that I want to support them!
Very good omelette and plenty to eat. Attentive staff. Not the cheapest breakfast but really good.
