“I recently took some friends out for Sunday dinner at Giaco's. We had a cozy table right next to the fireplace, delicious food and great service. Recommend the Osso Bucco, the Papardelle pasta and the Blackened black cod. So, so delicious. Wonderful warm ambiance. And...if you like Bloody Marys, theirs cannot be beat.”

“Very friendly and helpful staff— everything we ordered was excellent. We were a party of four and had the tea leaf salad and Korean ribeye beef bao as appetizers . We shared 4 entrees - a curried shrimp dish and a scallop dish . Both were delicious ! We also had the black cod with miso broth and a chicken curry dish. Dessert consisted of an excellent chocolate bread pudding and a serving of coconut cake.”

“Hey, we got options over here but ya just try to sit at the bar it's our favorite spot when & if we get lucky to find a spot for two. This place is lively has very good food & lots of banter. it's busy most of the time & lots going on here & the name speaks for itself. We have been here a few times & I have made a friend each & every single time. Maybe there's something in the water. Overall a solid 5 for Great drinks, Atmosphere & Good food. “We showed up as a group of 8 on Sunday afternoon when they were quite busy. The host was amazingly accommodating, the dining room was calm and inviting despite the volume of customers. We split into two tables and both servers were fantastic. Food came quickly and we all liked our dishes. I’ve been to the Station House many times over the past 30yrs and I think this is the best incarnation yet. Well done!”

“there were 4 of us and only 1 person had been to Insalata before. We ate indoors but there is outside seating when weather permits. Room in inviting and has a good vibe. We had a bit of a wait to be seated but not annoyingly long. Once seated service was attentive and professional. Tremendous menu-lots of options for appetizers as well as entrees. Food was well prepared and beautifully presented. Good wine list, too. wonderful, wonderful evening”

It’s the little details, like the way the cheese is melted on the veggie tacos and not just an afterthought on top, the seasoned tortilla chips, or the grilled corn kernels, the flavorful salsas (no watery salsa here), and the finely shredded cabbage. It’s those details that offer a glimpse into the dedication and care that goes into everything at Kito’s. The shrimp tacos are phenomenal. Go here. Now. “I highly recommend this place for authentic and delicious Indian food. My favorite dishes are the following: 1. Butter chicken - chicken very tender and juicy, sauce tastes so good especially with the naan bread (they should bottle the sauce and sell it!) 2. Yellow dal - we enjoyed this dish. ordered mild spice but next time will order medium spice as we want a little more heat. 3. Appetizer Samosa - comes with 4 per order, generous amount of filling with potato and green peas. It was a little spicy. Comes with 2 dipping sauces - green sauce and sweet sauce.”

“We enjoyed the most delicious meal. Authentic Italian cooking with wonderful attention to detail. I started with a salad of pear and radicchio. It's not pear season so I expected an unripe pear with minimal flavor to be honest. But I love radicchio so went for it. The pear was juicy and tender. What a delicious contrast to the crunchy radicchio and mustard vinaigrette. If that much care is given to the salad you can imagine how delicious the rest of the meal was. We left our plates scraped clean. ? They have a fabulous and affordable wine list and the staff make you feel like longtime friends. Our table was flanked by devoted regulars who were effusive in their love of Chef Valenti's talents. We could see why! We went on a busy weekend night and they never made us feel rushed to turn the table. For sure this is the best Italian food in san anselmo— but I'm just gonna call it. You can't get more delicious Italian food in all of Marin.”

Tucked in behind the surf shop up front, Hook Fish Co. is a lovely oasis slinging a fantastic beer selection, along with some seriously delish fish with a Mexican flair. I split the ceviche and chips, which was decent enough but not outstanding, with a friend and then turned my attention to my fish burrito, which was absolutely outstanding. When paired with their habañero carrot hot sauce, their burrito transcended time and space. The outdoor space here is super cool and the vibe was very laid back and friendly. I strongly recommend this place for a beer and a meal and hope I get to make it back here at some point.”

Great family vibe with soccer team parties, dogs everywhere, and outdoor heaters galore (it can get windy bring your jacket you'll thank me).Pizzas are good and really decent prices too. Their beer selection was huge but I asked for a recommendation each time and loved every beer. They have a wide variety. I didn't go inside but it looked cool.Parking suuuucks. We sat outside on the quiet patio and enjoyed the beautiful spring weather. Service was friendly, knowledgeable, and very attentive. Our food was absolutely delicious and we appreciated the expert wine recommendations with each course. We started with the shaved fennel, beet, & orange salad which was a bright and flavorful starter. I ordered the seared scallops & my partner ordered short ribs sourced from nearby Niman Ranch. The main items and their accompaniments were simply perfect. With the scallops came grilled Brussels sprouts & fingerling potatoes and with the short ribs, fingerlings & other veg. We were sated and certainly didn't need dessert, but were celebrating my partner's birthday, so ordered coffee& ice cream for him and affogato for me. A small note - a woman walking by with a dog got tangled with leash, phone, & a glass bottle, dropping the glass bottle on the sidewalk. Our server (owner? manager?) immediately rushed out to help her clean up the glass, which we found very kind. “Me and my family wanted some chicken for lunch, so we came to dhc for the first time. What a great choice. I’m not a big spice person, so I just got lite mild, and it was perfect. The staff was very nice, Richard explained the different spice levels and he explained them very well. We had a great time and I recommend coming to this spot if you’re in the area!”
