We had a wonderful Father’s Day dinner here, and everything exceeded our expectations. The waitstaff and the friendly girls at the door who seated us were all fantastic—warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Everyone took the time to explain the specials and answer questions, which made the experience feel personal and special. 
The portions were generous and the food was incredibly fresh and flavorful. As a nice touch, they even took a Polaroid picture of us with their own camera to commemorate the occasion—what a thoughtful gesture!
This was a great dinner overall, and we’ll definitely be back. Perfect spot for a memorable meal with family. Thank you to the whole team!”

“The food was absolutely delicious, and I genuinely enjoyed every bite. Everything was flavorful and well prepared, and I had a great dining experience overall.

That said, I found the price to be very high compared to the portion and what you actually get. The food was definitely good, but at this price point, I’m not sure the value is there for me.

I really enjoyed the meal, but I’ll have to think twice about whether I would come back again because of the price.”

“Popped in on July 4 and we’re so lucky this place was open! Owner was super friendly and let me try a few flavors before I landed on the flavors mint and dark chocolate and sea salt (sorbet).

My partner got the blueberry cheesecake - also delicious. Flavors change every month so we’ll definitely be back

“love love love it here! my mom and I stayed in fairfax for a whole week and we ate here several times. food is amazing, atmosphere is amazing, staff is amazing. special shout out to our main man Ty who remembered us by name and was always super fun and friendly every time we came in. he may even play you a few songs on his guitar if you’re lucky. this place was definitely a highlight of our trip and i’ll miss going there when we leave. we could also tell that this place is a huge hit with the locals which is always nice to see. thanks for all of the great food, drinks, conversations, and songs Barefoot Cafe! until next time! -Ebony”

I like the Chicken Caesar Wrap had a really unique and flavorful taste, I honestly enjoyed it a lot. Everything tasted fresh, and the Matcha Lemonade was super refreshing too. Definitely a spot I’d come back to again.

Great blends from Napa Valley , as good as any expensive vineyard , the owner blends and creates them for years, STRONG WINE, UNBELIEVABLE TASTE! The food is amazing, I’m a New Yorker and loved it ! The gluten free pasta was done to perfection! Wished I lived closer…we would be there every week! The ambiance and staff were inviting , and the owner is a vibe unto himself! “Came for a burger at the recommendation of the Marin Burger Club. The burger is somewhat forgettable, not having much in the way of flavor. Writing this review less than two weeks after having it, little sticks out. Most notable is the bun, which had an oddly firm crust that I found off-putting. The fries were enjoyable, service good, and restaurant itself well laid out. But as for the burger...it's a slightly nicer version of Gott's burger. Good, not great.”

“Had just arrived in San Francisco, and hit the road heading to Sonoma for a wedding this weekend. Looking for a place to have lunch and we found Avatars on line. So, we decided to try it, and we are glad we did. Our meals were cooked fresh to order and they were delicious! Friendly staff and a place we will fondly remember and look forward to trying again on our next trip out here!!”
