I saw the Queens of Cobbler tent at the Palm Springs Village Fest on a recent visit and decided to try their mixed berry cobbler. Honestly I was prepared to be underwhelmed because most pies and cobblers have over sweetened, indeterminate filling in a tough crust. Boy was I wrong!! The crust was amazing and my only disappointment was that I got the single serving size so there was only a top crust. Now to the best part, the mixed berry filling, you could see and taste each type...
Nice Young fellow running this place cooks great cobblers working with his Auntie's recipes. Peach was world class. CHERRY was out the ball park. Fairly new shop. I hope not to loose him as supplier of my new favorite dessert.
