Top Grill - San Jacinto

The BEST BOWLS! Top Grill is one of my favorite eateries in the San Jacinto Valley, it's got authentic flavors, great customer service, and fair pricing. My recommendation is the chicken/veggie bowl or the steak bowl, these two are tied for 1st place in my heart. The tofu/veggie bowl is a close second! The meats are grilled to perfection and the veggies never look sad. I get lunch here at least once a week lately, I'm so happy it's a local favorite! Top Grill deserves the praise.

If you're in the mood for boba drinks or smoothies, I recommend the Matcha option, it's smooth and creamy. Top Grill also has a drink fountain and fridge if you're not in the mood for boba.

The ladies at the counter recognize the regulars and welcome newcomers. I'm always treated to a friendly smile and polite customer service. I've even had one staff member remember my order from a previous visit!

I can rely on Top Grill to be a no-frills visit. I typically order ahead, my meal is ready according to the approximate time given over the phone. I usually wait 10-15 mins, which is about the amount of time it takes me to get to this location. When I walk-in it's calm, clean and comfortable for solo or group diners.

Flame Broiler and Waba Grill has NOTHING ON TOP GRILL! TOP GRILL is the best Japanese bowl restaurant, I've had so far. The food is fresh and delicious with flavor. I made such a great choice. Money well spent. My lunch was less than $10. Healthy and affordable. I finished my meal in the parking lot. Yeah.... that good!

I had a very disappointing experience at this location. I came in to pick up an Uber Eats order and was simply waiting near the counter. When I politely asked how much longer the order would take, the woman at the register told me to “move away” because I was “putting pressure on her.”

I moved to the side and even tried to apologize, explaining that if I seemed frustrated, it wasn’t directed at her. Despite that, she continued to be rude. When I asked to speak with a manager, she claimed to be the manager herself and accused me of repeatedly asking — though I had only asked once.

For context, I’m about 6 feet tall and 240 pounds. I understand that my size might come across as intimidating to some, but I was calm and polite the entire time. I can’t control my build, and I made every effort to be respectful.

I used to be a regular customer here outside of doing Uber deliveries, but after this experience, I no longer feel comfortable coming back. It’s unfortunate, as I always liked the food, but the customer service was unprofessional and disrespectful.

Got some top grill this evening to find a blonde hair in my food when I’m about to finish it 🙃 I go to this place often and this has never happened, it’s disgusting. Do better!

I love this place! Their food is amazing but I ordered my food and a smoothie right before closing so the lady was lowkey kinda rude and rushing me. And she forgot to give me my smoothie 😩
