We just moved to the SJ area and are trying out local restaurants to see which are our favorites or go to's. I have previously ordered from here and the tortas ahogadas were good. I called and made a phone order this time because the online ordering was not working. I got 2 menudos a torta, 2 potato tacos with meat, and 5 tacos with chips and salsa. Grand total was $83. Then my son got a small horchata and it was $7! I didn't ask the total before because when ordering online the total was $62. So I was like great. I sent my son for the food and after seeing the receipts I was shook ! And they still forgot the chips and salsa they charged me for. The food is good but the service and prices are sadly not. I called for an explanation of the price and resolution of the missing food and the girl on the other end seemed annoyed. Then the lady in the background admitting to have forgotten the item didn't help. I'm good on this restaurant from now on.

Customer service is trash.
Called ahead of time asking if they would accept a phone order with an eta of 8 pm ( supposedly closing time). They accepted and told to call 10 min prior to arrival for confirmation.
I called the restaurant at 7:44pm and 7:45pm to notify I was on my way no answer. I arrived at 7:52 pm the restaurant was closed (door locked and all lights off).
Why accept orders with no intention of fulfilling?

Horrible experience. Waitress was nice but place was infested with flies. We could not eat. I had to ask for a flyswatter so I was eating with my left hand and swatting with the right. We took our stuff to go.

We went to order and when we got home order was all wrong I called to ask they said they can’t do anything about it, wth that’s not right. Fist time I go and last would not recommend this place. If I could I would give a zero no stars

Amazing Food and Service.
The Birria Tacos are really delicious and the consome has a lot of flavor. The Pierna Lonche is really good too. We also tried the Carne en su jugo and is delicious.

JUST ATE HERE GOT TWO TORTAS A FRY AND SODA. Fry’s were burnt and torts was burnt. Torta was disgusting I WILL NEVER COME BACK HERE WASTED $40 for some nasty food!!! Close this place they suck!
