OK the bartenders Rina and her crew are awesome at hidden gem /cozy, karaoke, full bar, and they will always assist you and direct you in the right place every time you wanna sing a song. It's one of the only karaoke bars in Southbay /Silicon Valley. Overall experience, it is freaking awesome for the bang you get for your buck... this is a perfect chill spot for every scenario..I'm not even kidding. You can go on a first date here or a party for a birthday or a surprise celebration for everything and anything. For me impressions are everything and every time I go in here, everyone greets you and treat you with the feelings that satisfies your decision to enjoy the evening.

Randomly stumbled onto 7 bamboo on wiggie Wednesday! Which was the BEST time I've had in a long time! The staff were all so friendly and fun! I mean a wig and a shot for $5 !??? Count me in! Everyone in the bar was so fun and friendly, more importantly drinks were STRONG. Trying to add 7 bamboo onto my rotation!

I’ve been going here for years, but today they informed me that they don’t allow hats. That’s pathetic and lame and I’m never going back.

I came here for a work event last night and had the BEST time. It's such a great vibe- excellent bar, ambiance, and service. Our group had so much fun both during our private event and also when the bar opened later for the public. They have basically every song you could possibly ask for and the MC does an excellent job facilitating the performance. It's very welcoming and comfortable. I'd highly recommend it to anyone who's interested in hosting a private event or a fun night out on the town. They do have vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free pizza options.

I've been going here for years. They check my id even though I'm 58. Today the bouncer informed me they don't allow hats. Never going back.

This is quickly becoming my favourite bar in the area! Super chill vibes, everyone out just having the time of their lives, karaoke, drinks and bartenders who are super awesome! I dunno what you really want more in a bar, but those are pretty freaking awesome to me! I've been here several times already, and once I wore a crop top jacket without a shirt on, and the bouncer let me in, but later I was told to zip it up, because apparently it was a little too risque for the venue. I laughed it off, cuz it was funny having him tell me, "I'm sorry man, I didn't know you weren't wearing a shirt!" HAAAA!! Like I would ever wear a shirt.

I love this place. I don’t live in San Jose but I do come here like 3 times a year and I always come to Bamboo. Great vibes in there. Karaoke is always fun and the drinks are well priced. The staff also is very nice (security and bartenders)

Used to be a go-to spot for me and my friends, always saw a lot of the usual suspects/familiar faces and always felt at home. Now that there is a dress code, not so much. Especially when it is enforced with SOME but not ALL. I was told I was not allowed a beanie, even tho it was very cold outside, meanwhile, the singer on stage was wearing a backpack that's supposedly against the new dress code as well. I guess if I had boobs I could get away with it. Get rid of the stupidass dress code or enforce it with everyone. It's a karaoke bar, not a goddam nightclub.
