Food and drinks are fine but there were so many flies and gnats. At some point my friend and I gave up on shooing them away and accepted that they were gonna end up in our food. Wouldn't be surprised if we ate some that day. The tables were also sticky. Recommend ordering to-go.
Drinks are probably the best thing there and are on the sweet side for me but I just order less sweet. They have a good tea flavour and fruit flavour prices are okay too. 4/5.
Food is okay. Nothing super special and the prices are decent for what you get. Then jalapeno cheese fries use nacho cheese sauce instead of melted cheese. Jalapenos are the pickled jalapenos instead of fresh so mildly disappointing. The fry on the fries weren't as crispy as I would like either. Takoyaki and shumai were fine. 3/5

Food is overpriced. I got the garlic cream waffle fries and it was 7.45 yet the menu said it was 6.50. I also got a lemon green tea and it tasted bitter. I supposed the lemon was not fresh as it should. Overall food is okay but too expensive for the portion and the taste.

I went here for lunch the other day and I honestly thought it was just okay. I tried the steak guacamole fries since it looked good in the Yelp photos. Although I loved the hot crispy fries and the amount of steak pieces, I felt that the flavors didn’t match with each other. It was like a combination of Vietnamese shaking beef with guacamole and takoyaki sauce, which I felt was an odd combination of flavors. I also ordered the strawberry passion tea which was good but not any different than what I can get at other boba places. Overall, I would definitely give them another shot and consider returning to try other dishes or drinks if I was in the area.

I’ve been in San Jose for quite a while and to a large variety of restaurants. I don’t ever give reviews but this was truly an experience. Although the matcha tornado met my expectations of a good tea drink, it was the steak and fries dish that took me by surprise. The guacamole was vivid and delicious, the fries had the perfect crispy texture that avoids the soggy fallacy of nacho style dishes, and the steak was a literal bomb of flavor! The steak was perfectly seared with a juicy and soft interior which allowed the flavor to be sealed in. Each bite revealed layers of ecstasy. You truly have not lived unless you’ve had this steak.

Waited over half an hour for our drinks… They need to be more efficient or else hire more employees. Unacceptable.
Also, the lights in their bathroom didn’t work…

the guy that was working on wednesday around 4pm dropped a cup on the dirty floor that has met countless numbers of shoes, picked up the dirty cup, and continued using it to make drinks. i told him to use a new cup, he said "ok", but proceeded to use the same dirty cup. BE CAREFUL, I do not trust the workers here. Manager should really train staff what sanitary conditions mean. never going back here.

This is an awesome snack shop. The drinks and food are terrific. We had a few drinks (HK milk tea $6, matcha tornado $6.25, creme brulee $6.25), popcorn chicken $8.50 and eggette $7. The popcorn chicken had a unique breading. It was crunchy and flavorful. There were spicy options and/or sauce options. We went with plain. The guy working by himself did an excellent job of taking our order and making it. I really liked how there were a lot of comfortable seats and how clean it was. Pro tip: there's a discount for paying in cash. The restroom lights don't work. So turn on your phone's flashlight before going in.

It was Siyoung Day when I went. So pretty busy off and on.I placed an online order and they never updated me on my order, so I had to go up to the counter and ask them about my order status.I had the gimbap roll and that was so bad. Everything is supposed to be cut the same size instead they slap a huge piece of steak in each piece which made it hard to eat. The steak was sorta chewy as well and not tender. Also had a taro blended drink with lychee jelly. Even with 30% sugar it tasted so sweet. More then likely the jelly attributed to this, so will forego the jelly next time.I would go back and try other food and drinks.

Overall great first impression of branding and ambiance. Clean and plenty of seating with a unique menu. Quick and amicable service as the line of 4+ people diminished quickly by virtue of fast service. I only ordered the mango hibiscus tea (light sweetbess) and it was phenomenal. Plenty of parking in front of the store, parking garage also available.
