It's a place where you'll almost certainly run into someone you know. Aside from that, every dish I sampled in this cafeteria was tasty and filling.

*COVID Review* Staff wears masks Arrows 6' apart Always loved WFM drinks and foods. Besides loving their organic products, I find their non-food items like their flowers also impressive. However I've gotten coffee beans consistently from WFM and it's not surprise to me there's a coffee bar. TBC!

I am a high -risk person and I am the shopper that has visited Safeway, Trader Joe's, Lunardis and Whole Foods. I find Whole Foods to be the Covid 19 safety deficient store in the area. Staff are not consistently wearing masks, the carts are only sprayed on the top of the handle and not wiped, so the underside is still possibly infected. No one monitors how many people are in the store, standing next to each other or any compliance of social distancing practices. All customers do not have masks and some staff wear their masks below their noses. Management needs to step up and develop procedures and train staff to meet safety requirements. I'm worried about my safety when I go there.

So my visit was up and down. The start was the best. One person went to back to grab fresh roseMary for me and another worker was educating me on the cheese. Felt like a great Friday. Then I went to the meat department to get a skirt steak. I was waiting for about 5-10 min, not a big deal no rush. When one of the workers became available, he said a number, and at that moment I didn't pull a number. The ladies number that was called was like hey go ahead you were here first. I said thank you. I went over to say what I wanted and the worker said did you pull a number? I said, no I didn't realized I needed to (never have I ever all the times I've came to Whole Foods). Then he said, you need to pull a number and tried to skip me. Then the lady and another man was like hey, he was as here before everybody. Then the worker in a disgruntled voice, next time you need to pull a number, what do you want? Then I got my steak walked to the cashier and she was very friendly which ended the trip on a great note.

Review is for safety efforts during covid 19 pandemic. No efforts to limit number of customers in store. Many people walking around without masks, both customers and workers. Neither hand wipes nor sanitizer at entrance. Otherwise, standard whole foods quality and prices.

Whole Foods is a good grocery store. I stopped by the one at Blossom Hill to purchase some produce and berries. Service was good.

Wonderful store! The employees are so helpful, even during this difficult time. When 75% of stores no longer answer their phones, this Whole Foods does, and you're not on hold for 15 min. BEAR in the Heath and Body Care section was so helpful! She knows her stock and I can tell that she is great at what she does. Thank you, Bear, for excellent service!

With all the virus madness, I walked in looking for some vegan butter. I was so pleasantly surprised to find Wholefoods packed with fruits and vegetables. The rest of the store was not so stocked but they still had a lot of the essentials. And I found the vegan butter!!

This was my first time visiting this Whole Foods location since it opened; I wasn't aware of that since I moved out of San Jose in 2004; how I miss my hometown! Being back in San Jose has brought back a lot of memories; it's such a large city and a huge population of over one million people; I was born and raised here and came to San Jose the other day for a baby shower. After the baby shower, I checked into a hotel in Almaden Valley (one of the neighborhoods in San Jose) and took a nap. After the nap, I decided to go to Whole Foods to grab some food for dinner; thankfully this location was literally blocks away from the hotel. What I noticed about this Whole Foods location was that it is very clean and organized and on a larger scale. When you walk in, they have an area sectioned off with tables where people can eat their food (for those that bought food in the prepared food section) complete with booths and tables, plates and utensils and a water fountain with cups. Their produce section is huge and the aisles feature nicely stocked selections of whole food brands (which is their 365 brand) and lots of foods for vegans and vegetarians (which is nice for me since I am a vegetarian). They also have a nice wine and cheese department, lots of freezers with frozen goods, meals, vegan ice cream and dairy free yogurts too. I was little worried about coming in so late but the prepared food section still had tons of options for those that wanted to buy some dinner. I ended up getting some penne pasta with creamy tomato sauce and I made my own salad too; everything still tasted so fresh and delicious. Love this location; I will be back whenever I am in the area!

This is probably the worst Whole Foods to go to for the hot food section. Every time I've come here trying to get fresh hot and healthy options, the food looks old, over cooked, dry, and nasty. The food looks so terrible every time I've come, that I've gone to chick Fil A every time. I give the hot food section 1 Star but give the store an overall 3 or 4 just because it's Whole Foods: they have great grocery items, high quality, good options, and good brands. I would give it a 1 because of the food but this is a huuuuge Whole Foods so overall I'm giving it a higher rating. Beyond the hot food section this has so many options of everything. The parking is terrible! The parking spots are small, tight fitting, and incredibly "squishy" to get in and out from- if you will. You can handle a lot by going to this plaza because of the things located there in addition to shopping and picking up things for the kitchen. This one is so big you can get lost in it just walking around but absolutely not my fav at all. My fav is the one on the Alameda although similar parking situation. After coming here multiple times on a few occasions just to drop in and get hot food and leave highly disappointed, I'll just stick to drinks and other items here not the fresh hot food section. This is one of the best ginger ales out too! I don't drink soda and this is the only "soda" I'll drink. I'll drink this brand ginger ale or ginger beer which are the most refreshing and flavorful. I should have bought two because now I wish I had another one! On a positive note, Whole Foods has the best drinks and kombucha and I spend money weekly there. After reading other reviews it made me remember that the cashiers are not friendly, they don't smile, and you leave kind of feeling weird. The man that helped me said have a nice day but never looked at me, handed me my receipt and looked away. And I've had the same kind experience with other cashiers. I thought it was just me but I see that others have had the same experience. You don't have to be overly happy or enthusiastic but at least seem content or cordial without it feeling sarcastic or forced to interact with the customer.

Always busy and parking is never great. They had what I wanted which was a plus. Definitely not as over the top priced as it was before amazon took it over. I did order a sandwich from the sandwich area. I was a little disappointed that they ran out of the meat for the sandwich I wanted. I wish they had a way to mark their signs with they sell out of something so you don't get your hopes up and have then come crashing down on you.

Wow great auto response there!! I decided to go ahead and try to give my feedback to the email I was given and it's total BS and time consuming. After having to submit my way through many questions it turns out to be nothing realistic. So fokes be happy to pay for over price groceries for a place who will serve you raw chicken that can make you sick and give you a auto response, pretty much they don't give a sh*t about your health they just want your money!!

Well, thanks goodness this WF fares a bit better than the one in Los Gatos. What's nice about this location is their upstairs cafe is great for hanging with friend and the huge dining area downstairs with small kids table as well. My friend and I used to come here when our kids were little for their hot foods, sushi and sandwiches. I like their pizzas a lot especially the mushroom one. The dough is always consistently chewy and poofy. Love that they installed a mochi and macaron fridge now. Yum! Their fresh breads are always delicious and the original and garlic Naan are great. What else? The cheese, wine and fresh pasta sections are wonderful as well. When they used to make fried plantains I would load up on those. Please make more!! Floral section is gorgeous. Just one thing that is annoying here would be the tini tiny parking space and the lot is also small and always packed. But it's conveniently located next to Pet Food Express so that's always a plus in my book!

ok. in the last two weeks I have had two problems with this Whole Foods store. 1) purchased green onions that had slime in the middle of them. Yes... It was disgusting. Tossed them and purchased new green onions from Safeway. I chalked it up to a fluke yesterday I purchased BRIE cheese and with the packaging could not find the expiration date. When I got home I took packing off to find out the sell pay date was 1/29/2020.... yesterday was 1/31/2020 I live in Morgan Hill so no way I am going to drive back to San Jose to return in person at the store but I have uploaded photos and would like the manager to contact me for a refund. Once was a fluke twice is a problem

The meat department had a few individuals who refused to cut some chicken drumsticks for me because their reason was: 1) it's a department policy that they cannot cut drumsticks apart from the whole chicken leg because they cannot sell the thighs. 2) they will only cut drumsticks for me if the prepackaged ones are all sold out. This is the first Whole Foods store that has told me this. When I brought this up with the Customer Service department. They told me they had never heard of this policy before and we walked down to the meat department together to confirm this. Once we got there the gentleman with the glasses was very defensive, emotional and aggressive. He was speaking to me and the customer service person in a loud and condescending tone. Don't even talk about good customer service but this individual lacked self control and proper behavior. The customers were all looking at him and I felt a little embarrassed so I told him "hey no hard feelings. We just came over to confirm this policy that I've never heard of. I'm not here to cause any problems." I started walking away with the customer service person and I turned back because I heard laughing and muttering. Honestly, you're only embarrassing yourselves with that kind of juvenile behavior and making the store and brand look bad. If being a butcher makes you unhappy or customer service is not really up your alley. Perhaps you should try a different career path. I hope a representative from this store can reach out to me because I find this kind of service and behavior appalling. If these are the kinds of people you would like to hire to represent your brand, it's really making you look bad. This store usually has extremely polite people who go above and beyond for their customers including myself. It's sad to see that a few bad seeds had been hired here.
