We are visiting San Jose for Christmas to see our 97 year old dad, who moves very slowly with a walker and has a hard time getting around. As we were making our way to the front door, Keesha noticed us outside the order pick up door and came running out to guide us into the building and to our table. We were then lucky enough to have her as our server for our meal. It’s hard to find the words for how much we appreciate you Keesha. This is the type of kindness that will change the world. Thank you, thank you thank you and please give her a raise.

Applebee’s diverse menu allows for a variety of choices. Always yummy and the wait staff is friendly and fun. We had a great family brunch last Sunday and had a lot of fun. Good times!

My husband and I went to this Applebee's for dinner on the night of Black Friday. The shopping center was super busy and we were expecting at least a little bit of a wait to get seated for dinner but instead, the place was almost empty. There was no one at the host stand and we stood there for several minutes waiting for someone to come over and seat us. The server was nice enough but several things that we tried to order he advised they were out of. I ordered a small top sirloin and it was literally swimming in liquid when it was served. The side dish of zucchini had just leaked all over the entire plate and it took eight napkins to blot up the mess. To say it was unappetizing would be an understatement. My husband got a burger and some side mashed potatoes, with the potatoes being so hot that they clearly had been nuked in the microwave. We saw our server once throughout the entire dinner despite there being hardly any customers in the entire place. He even walked past our table three separate times and saw our plates pushed to the side and never picked them up. Never asked if we wanted another cocktail. Not sure when this place went downhill so badly but we will not be returning.

I’ve been a barber for over 20 years and lived off of tips ,but never once in my life have I ever asked someone if they wanted their change… I went and ordered some food for lunch for pick up not even Dine in and The Lady “Claire”after I got done paying, she asked me if I wanted my change (several dollars”I was embarrassed for her for even asking that so I said keep it… it is flat out rude to ask someone basically to give them a tip, especially when they’re not even ordering in house and have ordered for takeout. I hope this lady learns better customer service. Especially when they don’t know who the customer is and works at a barbershop directly across the street from the restaurant..,.
