What a wonderful time we had here! My first time, surprisingly, was tonight. We had a wonderful group of servers that were attentive and knowledgeable of the menu and what we might prefer. Atmosphere was lovely. It's nice to see real candles on tables these days. Shades kept the evening sun out until it passed beneath other buildings. The menu was exclusive but at the same time accommodating for myself and my friends all with different tastes. Great appetizers (we got the beef tartare and the cheese/meat platter) and a good selection of entrees. My ribeye was cooked perfectly and my friend had their pot pie done table-side, which was lovely. Drinks were delicious; definitely recommend the "Oh BEEhave"! Wish we could have tried the desserts but everyone was happily full~ And instead of the usual bread and butter, we were treated with an assortment of three types of French fries and three sauces to go with them. This was a delightful change to the usual in similar high quality restaurants. Would honestly come back just for the fries. Our waiter knew a great deal about the menu and helped us make choices based on what we liked. Servers refilled water just as we needed. All the staff we interacted with were friendly and helpful, especially the hostess when we realized we left without our to go boxes. Overall, this was a wonderful experience and hopefully the start of many more at Arcadia.

For a place of this magnitude, the price is sure to be more than average, but the food was amazing and the people staff are awesome. The staff are non-snooty as well.

Extremely disappointed in Arcadia today. This can be one of my fav steakhouses on one of their good days. There have been a few times they over cooked my steak & undercooked my husbands steak but we always come back pretty much for the truffle Mac n cheese. But today I wanted to call in an order to pick up when they open & they didn't answer the phone until the actual opening time which the hostess explained they won't answer until after 530. Most restaurants will answer before opening to accommodate reservations, but not the case here. So after not feeling well enough to dine in & waiting for them to open I call for a to go order & they refuse. I thought since the tab can get expensive maybe they deny to go orders in case ppl don't show, so I even asked what if I just order 2 orders of truffle Mac n cheese & she said said no. She told me rudely to go orders are only for hotel guests, which I wasn't. So much for craving & waiting all day for ARCADIA. As a regular customer for years now it was really disappointing. We've ordered to go from other Steakhouses & have never had this issue. *update My mom knew I was craving the truffle Mac n cheese so walked in to order it. First a guy told her we could have ordered to go but just had to pay over the phone first. That would have been no problem if I had the choice. So they use to make the truffle Mac with mushrooms & broccoli a long time ago & since I've been a regular here, I still ask for it with broccoli (I don't mind paying the extra). But the lady told my mom that was years ago & they refuse to add the broccoli unless she orders the chicken (which it comes with). Seriously can't believe this is how they treat customers ordering to go.

Came here with some colleagues for lunch and we had resos and we got sat right away. We ordered their tuna tartar and their lobster corn dogs. The appetizers were great. I liked the spice I felt from the tuna. I'm not sure how the others main dish was but I ordered their filet minion and I asked for it to be medium well. When I received my plate the meat was burnt from one side and that side was facing up. I flipped my meat and saw the lines of the grill on my steak and noticed that would've been a better presentation. Maybe because I ordered my meat medium well that was burnt? I didn't want to bother to take it back. Other than that their fries where perfectly cooked and their salad was crispy and fresh. Service was great! Just need to work on presentation and their meat!

One of the best spots in the area. The service here is better than most. Bring your hunger - portions are generous. Feels similar to a cafe in Chicago I loved.

From the craft cocktails to the desserts, everything is exquisite! I highly recommend the whole fried chicken dinner for two.

Arcadia is expensive, and worth every dime. The food is amazing, especially the steak. We have only had good service at Arcadia. It will remain as one of our favorites.

Good food fast service and you never have to leave the convention center campus. Perfect when you are between important presentations and need nourishment.

Came in for lunch by myself. Had the market salad (no almonds) with skirt steak. The flavor of the steak was fantastic. Perfectly cooked. Kind of expensive for a salad.. 30$ before tip but arguably worth it. Would ordwr that again for sure. Update: dinner sucked, trying to be fancy with the flavors and it did not work... at all.

Quite bland for buffet breakfast. Absolutely same menu every single day. Options for lunch and dinner are also pretty ordinary.

One of the best steak and seafood places in San Jose. The steaks are really great and the lobster pot pie is amazing. Don't forget to get the mushroom soup if it's available. The free duck fat Fry's are fun too.

Honestly, it's okay. I'm not really a fan of fancy American restaurants but decided to check it out, maybe it's just because I'm cheap. No, it was okay. Lack of flavor and a bit overpriced. I'd rather spend $10 getting something full of more flavor. If you want food and you're staying at the hotel or just dropping in, I'd reccomend Tanq. Better flavored food (even if it is just bar eats) and better ambience.

Steak seemed good, the ones my dining companions had. As a vegetarian it was a little limited. But the cheese platter at the end was delicious. Could probably have done with a little less mint on the Gorgonzola.

Ambience: clean, modern look. The ambience rates highest out of the other categories. Food: we had three charcuterie board and ahi tuna to staft. "Meh", nothing memorably good or bad. my boss and I had the 8oz filet mignon. It was average, but for the price, it can't say I'm jumping up and down my seat. # people on the table had the sea bass. I think it was digestible: they did not inhale the front fish, did not have about the flavor or bother taking photos. Therefore, I guess if was a "meh" as well. Last but not least guest, had a special veggie platter made has he is vegetarian. I think he enjoyed his specially made meal. He ordered a side of sunchockes and offered me some. Quite delicious! Offering this as a side on the menu is an excellent choice!! Service: I flat out did not feel this place did ant effort for a 5 star service. It was so terribly memorable, felt the need to write this review! After we sat down for 15min, and all the other tabels around us got their menus, no one acknowledged us even as I waved. I walked to the server rest area to ask for service. The Canadian that I am felt she rude doing that, but I only did it because it was a business dinner! Our server showed up eventually as if nothing was wrong. He did not tell us about the specials. He did not tell us what was unique to the restaurant until I prompted him. He had terrible BO. He also gave us an aloof look when we asked him about the Californian wines (he merely was not knowledgeable in that are and I didnt think the restaurant should have put him there as the forefront if he could not represent the palate well). When we finally got our wine, I saw the most memorable thing in a restaurant I should be paying 4$'s for... Our server took off the coil of our bottle of Napa red wine and threw it on the ground. It wasn't like he dropped it. He deliverately threw garbage with so much pride on the ground. Even as we left the restaurant 2 hours later, I saw him walk by his garbage 4 times, the coil stayed there. He is the reason this place got 2 stars. He is a disgrace to the restaurant, I feel bad my CEO had to take the bill and does his far 20% tax because he is just such a nice guy.
