I went to buy a picanha with catupiry yesterday and the dish was ready in 8 minutes. I ordered the meat well done and it was all raw inside. It's not because I placed the order 30 minutes before closing and so go that it needs to be ruined.

I have a very serious complaint to make about an employee and I would like the OWNER of the restaurant to contact me directly, because the service I had at the end of everything was terrible and seemed to be personal due to being a friend of an employee, while the waiter's service and the food I have nothing to complain about were excellent, but the employee who received the payment served us very badly, and I believe that the call I made will not have much effect. So I ask for the attention of an owner so that I can expose the situation and that a restaurant of this size has an employee who damages its reputation.

Portion is big and very sharable. There’s a small Brazilian market section with authentic foods.

The restaurant has a beautiful ambiance, but the experience is overshadowed by other issues. The “picanha” is advertised as aged, but it’s tough, thin, and feels like chewing on styrofoam. While portions are generous, the flavors are far from authentic Brazilian or Portuguese cuisine. The chicken pizza tastes like anything but chicken pizza. To make matters worse, the owner is constantly disrespectful to the staff, who seem to change frequently. It’s a shame to see such potential wasted.

Pastel arrived CARBONIZED!
I ordered Alcatra and I got cans of asada steak. The lady at the desk said it was Alcatra that I was getting but maybe she doesn't understand, because of her poor English and her Brazilian Portuguese. That was not Alcatra . I wasted my money . I'm Portuguese from Portugal Azors and when I want some good Portuguese food that was not it.

I ate and paid but honestly the food was poor.
Just got done at this Place. My wife is full blooded Portuguese, born in the Azores. This place is Brazilian, the food is Brazilian, the people speak Brazilian Portuguese “Way different than European Portuguese. They do carry Portuguese items in the market (very overpriced) HERE’S THE MAIN ISSUE WE HAD. We had 4 people at our table, We placed our order, 45 minute's later here’s 3 of our dishes, THEY FORGOT MY FOOD. 30 minutes later I try to cancel my order being tired of waiting and ready to leave since everyone else at my table already finished thier meals. All of a sudden here comes my food as we’re trying to leave. Seriously ridiculous, no discount no nothing, even after complaining. I was the only White person in the restaurant, I assume that wasn’t the reason, but I can’t help but wonder. Will not go back for sure. They really shouldn’t advertise Portuguese food, as they are not. I would recommend Petiscos, real Portuguese food.

This is not a reference restaurant for Portuguese food, let alone Brazilian food. The food used to be good in the distant past, but the overall quality is not good. San Jose residents themselves do not recommend eating there. The food is not good and the quantity is miserable. The service is also unacceptable. As a Brazilian, I have seen the hostile treatment of Brazilians up close. If you want to pay to see for yourself, go to this place and see. Today for the last time I went to this supposed Brazilian/Portuguese food restaurant and they confused the onion steak strip with the carpaccio meat strip. If it weighed, it wouldn't have been 20 grams, cut with a laser knife, I took a photo because it was unbelievable. The answer was that it was a promotional dish (unbelievable but I had to hear that) for 16.40 and the onion steak had more onion than meat. If to maintain this value, you have to reduce portions, better take it off the menu. This way it doesn't create any embarrassment. I regret not getting up and leaving. I'll never go back and all my acquaintances and strangers will see the photo of the steak served and they won't go back either. The hostile treatment did not result in the loss of one client, but of several other acquaintances.
