Best masala dosa in town! It’s the closest to what you get in Vidyarthi Bhavans, MTRs in Bengaluru. Surprisingly, you don’t feel bloated after 1 dosa—says a lot about quality without sacrificing the taste

I happened to visit the place randomly for another work related commitment and I took a chance to eat the Dosa.
Hands down, this is the best dosa ever in Bay area. I have eaten at a lot of Dosa spots but this one beats everything.
The Dosa was crispy, and almost melted inside the mouth.
Hands down! This is a must try place for all Bay Area Dosa Lovers!

Went on a Saturday evening for the chaats menu.
Masale Puri - Did not get it coz they ran out of it
Pani puri - Really really bad. Everything was bad and we had to mix our own ingredients
Masale dose - very average (they ran out of chutney too).
This place has removed pre ordering and entertains walk ins now, but they run out of items to serve you. I mean if you can’t handle your inventory, you really should get back the pre ordering model and not go with the walk in model.
I had high expectations from this place but it was really disappointing
If you’re looking for good Bengaluru dose, Do not go here

If you’re craving a taste of home from BLR, look no further than Bengaluru Thindi Garage. I had their masala podi dose, and it was nothing short of perfect. The texture hit that rare sweet spot, beautifully crisp on the outside, soft and airy inside, and not at all greasy. The podi had just the right amount of spice, complementing the perfectly seasoned aloo. Every bite was comfort and flavor in harmony. Can’t recommend this place enough!

BTG is a hidden gem! The food is delicious and authentic - I’ve tried the dosas, idli sambar, filter coffee and mango juice on multiple occasions and everything is consistently yummy and reasonably priced. BTG is one of the few places that cuts out the BS and focuses on providing a delightful culinary experience each time.

Absolutely loved the food! We pre-ordered the masala dosey on their website, very simple and straightforward process. Dosey reminded us of Bengaluru and is as deliciously authentic as it can get! It’s served with coconut chutney which is delicious too.
We also had thatte idli and idli sambhar. The chutney + ghee combination on thatte idli is amazing.
Prepare to wait 15-20 mins to pickup your order as they make the dosa fresh and do not pre-pack.

This place serves the best masala dosa in Bay Area, crispy on the outside and soft inside. The garlicky chutney on the dosa takes it to the next level.
Dietary restrictions: I had requested for a no onion garlic version of podi masala dosa for a friend and the chef put in all efforts to accommodate this for a single dosa.

We tried Masala Dose, Thatte idli and idli sambar. Food is excellent, coming from a Bengalurian this is the best dose I’ve had in the USA. The owner/chef was very friendly and checked with us for feedback. Filter coffee at the end was very good . A must try breakfast spot in the Bay Area ?
