All my Korean dreams come true and just down the street from me! Highly recommend you check them out and support their small business. We came here on a whim and I'm so glad we did. I've been craving Korean food and I'm so happy this place is so close to me. They've only been open for 6 months. Plenty of parking in the lot or on the street. The lady who took our order and served us is so cute and sweet. She doesn't speak English too well, but she was working hard and she was the only one front of the house! She takes care of all the patrons, the Doordash orders, the to go orders, refill waters, check you out, etc. We ordered the spicy braised short ribs, spicy beef stew, and the veggie pancake. Both were not spicy but tasted amazing! My husband said the stew is his fave soup of all time! The beef is shredded and it comes with glass noodles. I normally don't like seafood pancakes, but the veggie one here was fried to perfection. It was crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. The braised short ribs had great flavor. I do wish the meat was more tender, but it's still a solid dish. They don't skimp on the ban chan and they were all good. They'll give you refills if you ask too. This place isn't cheap for being on the East Side, but I think prices are on par with other Korean restaurants. We're happy to be back because the food was fire and staff were so friendly.

Food portion is generous and staff is so nice! We ordered tofu kimchi and pork belly tofu stew. They are both authentic and tasty. Banchan is refillable. Highly recommended if you are looking for a Korean place in east San Jose!

Super duper yummy! The service was super quick and easy. Highly recommend going if you haven't! I enjoyed the lady that helped us, super kind and friendly! They have a tofu soup & protein combo for $30.99! awesome deal since they have a bunch of different options.

I miss Korean Fusion, but I love Big Spoon more. For years, I've wanted a go-to Korean spot where you can order a simple but "feeling of home" dish. The other spots in the area are either overpriced or KBBQ AYCE. This place fills the niche of home-cooked-like meals made by Umma for a good price. I've DD'd this place at least 10+ now in 2023. Food is always on point, but I prefer to dine in. It's not busy when I go, good, hidden gem, but at the same time, it'd be nice if Umma got more support. Sweet Potato Cheese Tonkatsu... you're welcome. Comes with all the Banchan. Huge portions, so hefty, yet so delicious

The first time I came to this place, I really liked the atmosphere of the restaurant. The waitress was very enthusiastic. The food is super delicious. This will be a place I would recommend to my friends.

Got their lunch special tofu soup and BBQ combo for $17.99 a person! Their food was so delicious in the cold rainy weather that I wish it wasn't so hot so I could eat it faster! When we got there in the afternoon we were the only table but the lady that worked there was very nice and gave us hot tea immediately and gave us a good amount of time to look through the menu and also chat. I would definitely come back! Super affordable and perfect amount of food for someone who can't eat too much in one sitting.Parking: Small little lot in the back.

Came back to try more dishes and loved all of them! Great service, waitress was patient when we weren't able to decide what to get. I love how this restaurant has many other varieties of dishes than some other places. Place wasn't super packed considering it was dinner time on the weekend.

5 stars for food: We've come here a couple times and liked everything we've had. My fiancé says it's better than the other Korean places he's had. 5 stars for service: Very courteous staff. Quick service. 5 stars for ambiance: the restaurant gives me a family feeling, comfort.

What a hidden gem! Me and my wife love korean food and almost want to keep this place secret for ourselves lol. We've been to all the popular places in Koreatown area in Santa clara and around the bay so i can say this: THE KOREAN SOUPS HERE ARE A MUST GET!!! This place reminds me a lot of Daeho when they first opened in Milpitas with only one location in the bay and before many people knew about it. This place has no wait and plenty of parking, the area is quite hidden. The ambience is quiet with k pop in the background. The lady who serves use here every time here is so nice!! You get 8 side dishes and she kept coming to ask if we wanted more. Their ginseng chicken soup is hard to find elsewhere and they do an excellent job. The bowl is huge and not the size of your regular tofu soup bowl. I swear they serve it in a galbi jjim bowl lol Althiugh it sounds like a popular item, I haven't tried the tonkatsu yet but everything else has been really solid. The value is really up there and is one of my top 5 korean restaurants in the bay area now

This was such a cute little place tucked away in east side San Jose (finally, a Korean restaurant on this side of SJ). From what I know, this is a new store and it looked super cute and quaint. The lady who took my order was definitely sweet halmani vibes and I LOVED the banchan they had here. I like my Korean food more salty than sweet, and this place delivers. I could definitely go for a spicy tofu soup next time. There was LOTS of meat in the tofu soup, and I would try the kimchi tofu soup next time for a little more flavor. Lots of parking here and the menu is on the smaller side, but that makes things easier to order from. Very affordable and although not a show stopping meal, the food was still very tasty and I quenched my Korean food itch.

3.5 stars. It is located in a small strip mall off of McKee Road and White Road. Close to Subway's. The previous restaurant was called Korean Fusion Bbq. The lady who took my order was sweet, patient, and polite. The inside decor is similar to how it was before, but they have the cashier up front as you walk in. I got takeout here. The banchan is packaged in a container with invidual sections (6 different kinds). I ordered the Beef Short Rib BBQ. It was wrapped in foil and a paper box. The ribs were topped with sesame seeds. The ribs were about 11 bones. The meat was beefy, nicely charred, but slightly tougher/chewier. Maybe this batch only. We will see. :) I am excited to try other things on the menu.

Food is pretty good. My favorite is the stove bowl bibimbap with pork belly. Add the extra egg too. Eating in or take out it’s really good. On a mellow, cool, winter day, the bibimbap gets that warm cozy comfort feeling. And with a side of boiled dumpling, life is good. Service is excellent. Plenty of parking in the back, pretty chill for lunch.
