Eat there a couple of times a month. Service is good and friendly. Large servings and tastes great! A wonderful local hangout.

Cowboy skillet and Chicken and waffles. Cowboy skillet is made fresh with fresh tomatoes, jalapenos and onions. Chorizo is excellent has some spice to it. Tomato dices are a bit on the big side. Overall Delicous. Chicken and Waffles are okay, waffle taste on the bland side and fried chicken could be seasoned better. Overall good.

Underwhelming. Food was fine but sounded better on the menu than it tasted. It was busy. We had to ask for water twice and seek our server out a few times.

So I've been coming to bills since they first opened a location on the Alameda in San Jose. It's been awhile ! I've always appreciated their fast but delicious food and have consistently used Bills as my go to for breakfast. Today my husband ordered their chicken and waffles and for the first time we have ever discovered that they don't batter the chicken fist but just throw it in the fryer with fries and chicken was very dry. We asked the waiter if he could just discard the chicken and charge us for a waffle and he came back saying no we had to pay for it ( even though my husband didn't even eat the chicken) come to find out our waiter was making an executive decision without even talking to manager on duty and the waiter was perfectly happy to know we won't be coming back he said there was nothing to be done. We can appreciate that Bills may not cook fried chicken as most restaurants May however the lack of respect of leadership in making sure customers have a great experience should be great no matter the place. I'm a manager myself and if one of my employees were taking it apon themselves of treating customers a way that wasn't good for business then they'd find themselves looking for a different job, hopefully Bills wouldn't hire them!

I decided to try this popular breakfast spot in Almaden. I was greeted at the bar by a friendly waiter. The cocktails and mimosas for breakfast are extensive. I chose their new "blackstone" Benedict, which includes red onions, tomatoes, and avocado. The hash browns were decent, but a little mushy. I asked to have my eggs poached soft, and they came back hard boiled, which just ruins a Benedict in my opinion. The hollandaise sauce was tasty, but not the best I've ever had. I would say this is an average breakfast spot.

We split the Steak & Egg breakfast breakfast and it was delicious 5/5. Big portions, steak was cooked medium rare like we asked to perfection, the country style potatoes were amazing. The service 5/5 and atmosphere was very friendly, quite and welcoming.Parking: Lots of parking

Decided to check this place after working a night shift. The service is very quick and efficient for anyone is on the go. The overall ambiance is very homy and the staff are amazing. I ended up getting the mini Denver omelette with cake with a side of toast and hash browns. I was very happy and satisfied with my meal.

Fast friendly service but knocking a star off for some parts of the food we didn't love. We had the chicken fried steak which was delicious but the biscuit was just ok as were the side of eggs (scrambled, no seasoning) and the hashbrowns had a funny taste. Also had the mini pancakes hawaiian flavor which was really good with lots of macademia nuts and bananas! It came with 2 sausage or bacon but sausage was dry. Portions are big and price is pretty reasonable for the amount you get (although I would have preferred if they had told us it would cost $3 extra to make the mini pancakes different flavor than original).

When it first opened, food was good. The last three times I've been there. The food is not as good. Cold soup. Hashbrowns even when you ask for them to be extra crispy come out mush.
