First time to Bill’s cafe. Have seen it fremont so many times next to my friend’s place but ended up in San Jose location. I had an omelette from the specials. They were accommodating to alter and swap som ingredients. I got bacon instead of ham.

The omelette was well done with i think egg yolk on top. I liked that a lot. It added a different flavor to it. The hash brown was okayish. It was well done on top but middle was too mushy for my taste. I like grated potatoes but not extra boiled.

Overall a good place to go. I would go again to try some pancakes next time.

No wait Saturday and the food was amazing. My friend had the pumpkin waffles and said they were devine. The French toast was amazing.

This Breakfast Brunch Lunch spot is exactly what North East San jose needs more of.. Great food Great service at a reasonable Price. The Friendly and attentive staff work hard to keep up the Trademark of Bills service and quality. The menu provides a mix of american and south of the border favorites.. Along with a full bar for those like me who enjoy a Bloody Mary along with my Biscuits and gravy breakfast. Thank you Bills for coming into an often overlooked area of San jose .. Next stop Milpitas ?

A little expensive. But the food was awesome. Large portions and excellent taste.

Bill’s Cafe is usually one of our go-to spots, so we came in expecting the same solid experience we’ve had in the past. Unfortunately, this visit fell short in several areas, mainly due to the service and a few preventable mistakes.

Our server was Sonia, and we ordered two kids’ meals, a cheeseburger (requested with no cheese) and pancakes. Despite clearly asking for no cheese, the burger arrived with cheese melted on top. When we asked for a new burger, it was obvious the kitchen simply scraped the cheese off instead of preparing a fresh one. If my daughter had an allergy, this could’ve caused a serious issue. This is a warning to parents, pay attention to the food being served .

Kids’ meals at Bill’s Cafe also come with drinks, but those were never offered. We had to ask afterward just to receive what was included with the meal.

For the adults, the corned beef hash was as good as it always is, no complaints there. My only small note is the toast came out cold. It’s not a major problem for most people, but I actually do eat the toast.

The salad was fine.
However, the Denver omelet was a disappointment. It came out dry, with barely any cheese, which made it much less enjoyable than usual.

Throughout the meal, Sonia only returned to our table once to ask if we needed boxes and then again to drop off the check. There was no check-in to see if everything was okay, no water refills, no follow-up on the earlier issues. We still tipped 20%, but if we’re being honest, the service did not merit it.

Overall, the food had some highs and lows, but the service and attention to detail were far below what we normally experience at Bill’s Cafe. I hope this was just an off day, because we genuinely like this place, but consistency matters, especially when kids’ meals and allergies are involved.

Breakfast is good here. We sat at the bar and after about 10 minutes had to ask them to clean the previous clients dishes in front of us and for menus. Food came out relatively fast and was good. I had the California Benedict and enjoyed it. Crowded on weekend mornings.

Service is always good Raul and Carina were amazing they took care of us today . My son loved his mini pancakes and I enjoyed my mimosa with freshly squeezed orange juice 😋

Hidden location but very busy. Parking garage free. Big restaurant with plenty of staff. Good friendly service, food was above average,
