We love coming to Bill's for brunch -- food is always delicious, both the sweet and savory options. It's quickly become a go-to, especially since we can bring our dog with us and dine on the large patio! Staff are friendly and attentive. Would highly recommend!

My friend and I ordered the Mexicano Benedict, specifically because it included pork carnitas, which we were really looking forward to. However, when the dish arrived, it didn’t taste like carnitas at all. We later realized that the restaurant had changed the meat in the dish without informing us—no one mentioned the substitution, and the menu still listed carnitas.
We were disappointed, especially because the flavor we were expecting was a big part of why we chose the dish. It would have been appreciated if the staff had let us know about the change ahead of time so we could have made an informed choice.

Bills Cafe in San Jose is an easy 5 stars. The food is delicious, portions are generous, and the prices are very reasonable. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive—they kept our coffee topped off the entire time, which was much appreciated.
The standout dishes for us were the chorizo scramble, Bill’s Original Skillet, and the fried chicken Benedict. All were well-seasoned, flavorful, and packed with ingredients. I’m usually a hash-brown person, but I’ve got to say their country-style potatoes are the better choice here—crispy, hearty, and super satisfying.
A great spot for a fulfilling breakfast or brunch!

Honest review, overhyped. Server forgot about our table a lot and couldn't remember what we asked for. Food was super over-seasoned, if that could have ever been a thing. Taste was good but confusing at the same time. Lastly, for all the gluten free people, there is nothing here. I tried.

Craving steak and eggs today and what better place for it. Perfectly cooked both steak and the eggs. Servers are polite and attentive, keeping my coffee filled. This is my favorite Bill's Cafe!

Suzy, our server, was lovely. She has taken care of us in the past, too. She is friendly, and easy to get along with. Our food arrived quickly, which was perfect because we were in a hurry (we didn’t tell them this. They were prompt on their own).

I used to love going here, but the service that I experienced today was subpar. I had kindly asked for a smaller portion of the food and before I could even provide my medical card for the reason for requesting for a smaller amount of food, the waitress interrupts and says “No, I could get fired for this” and decides to not even hear me out. I eventually ordered a mini portion, which worked out fine, but the waitress didn’t give me the time to explain that I just had surgery and I am unable to eat a normal size portion.
I didnt argue and just wanted to enjoy my meal. Giving feedback to the team maybe hear your customers out first before saying no or provide a solution.
