I’ve heard so much hype about Bill’s Cafe, so I decided to finally check it out. Honestly, I’m not sure if it was just an off day, or if my expectations were too high, but my experience was very average.
The place itself felt pretty standard nothing really stood out in terms of ambiance or service. I’ve definitely been to diners that had more personality and better food. What really threw me off, though, was the orange juice I ordered it came with living flies inside. That was a big turn-off and I had to send it back.
All in all, it was a very normal diner experience for me, if not a bit disappointing considering the buzz around it. Maybe others had better luck, but personally, I’ve had much better meals and cleaner service elsewhere.

I've been here a couple times now and while the food is good I can't help feeling that for the money you could make all the dishes at home and they would be just as good. It's a good option for brunch out when you don't want to clean up a mess but I don't expect anything all that special here.

Was just in the area from out of town.. had the tuna melt w Mushroom soup... Hella good! He wouldn't give me the recipe.. lol .. my daughter had the pulled pork sandwich.. I had to try . Also was very good.. yep I will definitely be stopping by there again.. Great service!

Great breakfast place with all the classics cooked to perfection. I had the Mexican omelette and a hot chocolate. Would definitely recommend trying both.

This is a top notch and classic American breakfast diner. The atmosphere is great and happy no matter what day you go there. The waiters are very courteous and listens to you. We like to go there with friends and family.
Their dishes are of large proportions. So be careful not to over order.
We visited on a busy Monday morning and Yadira and Vanessa were holding it down! Both were very kind and attentive! I can't wait to go back to this place! I see why the reviews are what they are! I ordered the Angus steak omelet that came loaded with 4 eggs! I left rookie to try my wife's cinnamon pancakes and I'm glad I did! They were delicious but not too sweet!!

We loved our food. We ordered the mini Denver omelette with hashbrowns and the country fried steak. Great portion size, great service and good pricing. I love the option they have to get mini portion which is half the size and half the price.

Susie was an awesome server. Top Notch!!! Timely, checked in, considerate. Best server we have had a Bills Cafe on the Alameda and we have been coming here for a few years. Very in tune to the human experience in a world being engulfed by the silicone valley robotic atmosphere. True customer service near its finest. Many in the customer service industry could learn a lot from her. Or maybe not. Maybe she is just a Gem and you can’t train kindness and warmth.
