Gave four stars because of outstanding service (Tami) and assistance by general manager (Jenn). Here for brunch on weekend. My eggs over hard. Ordered over easy. Bernadine sauce really really bad. Cook hard time cooking. Not used to making eggs as the brunch just temporary. Still! Steak served cold. My 84 year old lady friend had small steak. She loves it here. I don't. most likely return for dinners as she lives nearby and always asks to come here. Me, I prefer Morton's or any upscale steakhouse.

Food is usually tasty but delivered too soon. I've found that letting my server know that I'm not in a rush usually helps. We usually order the campfire deal - the crispy garlic zucchini, 2 salads, New york steak with a side, the deal is $6950% wine bottles on Wednesday.$10-$12 specialty martinis.

Been going to this Black Angus and have seen it ebb and flow and with post Covid challenges of getting good staff it is clearly ebbing. Real crap shoot to get a decent server. First server (Jimari?) we had a chip on his shoulder showing up over 5 minutes after we sat. Had to move to get another server but worth it. Downside we had a tea with something floating in it. Server did right thing getting tea from different source. Wagon wheel appetizer was pretty darn good although a bit under temp. Crispy shrimp over cooked, onion rings good and Mac n cheese very good. They brought baked potato which I didn't order. Others thought their entrees were decent. Didn't even ask if we wanted desert or refill our drinks. Ambiance is typical but water damage and potential mold issues a concern (see pictures). Parking is a nightmare when they are busy.

We ordered takeout for the whole family to celebrate a birthday and the food was decent. The steak was a bit dry but I'm not sure if it's because we got delivery. The lobster tails were excellent and the kids loved their meals. Chicken tenders and fries but we'll have to try them again in person and see if things are better. Prices are great considering portions!

At first I thought this was going to be just another over priced steakhouse with nothing to offer. How wrong I was. Good portion sizes, affordable, relatively fast, all without compromising quality.

At the price everything was, I expected more. The service and atmosphere were good, the main problem is the food. For a steak dinner, you're sitting around $40 a person. At that price, you expect both good texture/mouth-feel and good flavor. While the texture was great, the food was probably the blandest I have ever had at a steak restaurant. The prime rib was fine, but the only time I tasted any flavor was on the crust where the rub was. The baked potato was low on fillings, and the broccoli was barely cooked. If the dinner was cheaper, I would have increased my score.TLDR: If this is the closest restaurant to you, drive a bit farther for at least an outback. Unless you're going for drinks, those were excellent.

I feel like for being a chain steak house this is def and underrated spot. Been coming here a few times and alway get my ribeye medium and a nice dark char on the outside and they make sure it's prepared how I like it. It's never usually packed and it's a big restaurant lots of space. The bread is warm fresh and delicious and dab some butter on it for extra flavor. The steaks are prepared to you specifications and seasoned. I'm not big on their sides for me the broccoli is plan Jane and the rice is even an option. The Mac is hot or miss but overall you come here for the steak and the steak is good. We'll be back

Went during the early afternoon place was more than half empty. I went with a party 8 and they said no, reservations only for a party that big. It's not even in a nice location or that nice of a place. But oh well took my money elsewhere.

We came here on a whim and were quite pleasantly surprised! We don't usually eat at steakhouses, especially since we're a non-steak eating family, but there were many options regardless. The restaurant itself is well-decorated( so warm!!) and friendly, As for the food, we ordered the campfire feast for two, the shrimp cocktail, salmon was our main dish, with our sidekicks being Mac and cheese, broccoli, rice pilaf, and salad. My kids ordered chicken tenders and mashed potatoes. The campfire feast for two is just enough for two, and the salmon was delicious and perfectly cooked. The sidekicks are all amazing and also have just right portion sizes. The shrimp cocktail was great, and the sauce was delicious. The chicken tenders were really moist, and the mashed potatoes were to die for, super fresh and creamy. Well, for one thing, they were a little behind on the food and service but not too bad :) Oh and the warm bread and butter that comes as a complimentary starter was gone within minutes, it was that good :)

Tomahawk steak was great! They even offered to bring the bone home for my dog lol. Downside was the sides were small and our server/kitchen forgot our lobsters so we had to wait for it. Otherwise, service is slow, it was kind of busy so it's understandable.

We had an excellent experience. We were seated quickly, had an attentive server, and I had one of the best steaks I'd had in a long time.

My biggest gripe is that my refills were served from a pitcher and not fresh from the soda fountain. I don’t know if this is how they usually do it or just because there was a big group next to us, but I the waitress would refill their whole group before giving me what was left in the pitcher, ensuring my soda was flat each time. It also felt like our waitress just didn’t have time for us. We had to wait an extremely long time to order, for refills, getting the check, and for her to run the card. The food was good overall, though my steak was over and her’s was under.

Black Angus certainly isn’t what it used to be. My salmon tasted a little fishy, which means it was not fresh. My guests steak was an unrecognizable cut and showed up well done when medium rare was requested. It was simply mediocre food by all accounts. The floor is heavily stained and dark. My Booth seat was repaired with red duct tape. I won’t be calling at Black Angus, I’ll call it blacklisted.

Black Angus used to be a staple pre CV. We went recently and our party was so happy about our steak meal and the Campfire Special for two. We know this is not a gouging, overinflated steak house, and we love that! We had filet mignon, and one was overcooked. The server made it right. The sides, dessert, and apps were .Bay area folks come out and support the last of American style steakhouse/cuisine. We are lacking choices of mid range steak and seafood houses.Vegetarian options: Get a salad, get sides like broccoli, potatoes , and such.Dietary restrictions: Yep!

I would go back to this location just to visit my server Tammy. She was so sweet and attentive. The best service I've probably ever had
