Bloom Tea House shared a space with a restaurant. It is located in a small plaza with a good amount of parking and it is pretty inside as well. Their hours are not consistent - the first time I went it was a couple of hours before the posted closing time and their door was still open/lights still on so I go in, but they told me they were closed. I came back another day - earlier in the day and finally had the chance to try them out, so I tried their jasmine milk tea with boba. The milk tea had a stronger tea taste and it was not as creamy. The boba was super soft and it melted in my mouth - it reminded me of jelly candy.

Made to wait for 15 minutes. There was a customer before me. Once they got served I asked for Bloom Tea and server handed me over the menu over the counter pretending to know little English. And started serving other customer after me. I once again asked for bloom tea and I was asked to wait. After she served the customer after me, she said that bloom tea flowers need to be preordered from Asia and she is out of it right now. Seems like they are happy serving own community only and other communities are not welcome. Never going again. Bad attitude.

This place is great! Was feeling under the weather but I can honestly say their "Takes Two to Mango" made me feel better. Good strong tea taste with huge chunks of aloe vera. The aloe vera couldn't fit through the straw which is fine, I just rip the top open and reel them out. It's located inside DiLac restaurant. Wish this local establishment gets more recognition it deserves!

I would just like to say that I'm sitting here with the sweet sounds of soft piano playing, sipping my preferred "not too strong and not too sweet" personalized Coffee Lovers drink, with the afternoon sun warming the room, and googleing on their complimentary wifi. This is bliss.

Peaceful place, teas have exotic names, I got the one like Flower child, hippie flavor (anything with rose hints has a hippie flower, right?) plus an appetizer of sticky rice. All excellent. Above all, I felt welcomed and comfortable sitting there alone, checking to my right the attached restaurant that I would like to try soon. I found this was an interesting concept of tea house/restaurant blending yet separate. All the food I saw on display looked excellent, so I will like to try as well as from the tea menus try the artichoke drink. I was hesitant to get that one but something inside me was 'that cannot be a good drink'. Need to try then, next time. Parking was easy but I did not find the place easily as I was looking for the Bloom Tea House signage that was not easy to spot.

On my way through the area, I literally drove 20 minutes out of my way to try this place after reading the great reviews on Yelp. First of all, it's a little hard to spot and it's actually part of a Vietnamese Restaurant in the complex. When I arrived there were two other people inside, a woman and her elderly mother, ordering food. I waited for them to finish and ordered my drinks. The wait for the tea was just far too long, like unacceptable. They told me like 8 minutes after I ordered that they didn't have any aloe for one of the drinks I ordered. I probably should have left but I told them to make it anyway. Two other customers came in and ordered food and got their food and left long before my drinks were ready. My party and I tried the OG, Okurr and the Okey Dokey Artichokey (sans aloe). We were not impressed. The drinks had more boba than we were used to and the boba was soft which is good. The OG is literally a plain milk tea. The Okuur is a jasmine milk tea with half an oreo broken on top and I don't know what the Artichoke drink tastes like when made correctly, but without aloe it is basically just a sour fruit tea and was tried and then tossed. The older lady working inside was nice and I really wanted to like this place but I would never come back or recommend it to anyone else. I was here 20 minutes and with the 20 minutes out of my way and 20 minutes back, I literally wasted and hour on this place for very low quality drinks.

Stopped in for a pot of tea- bloom tea specifically, and had some pho while I was at it, why not? The broth was delicious, and it not only had meat, but tofu too the tea was also good, served with mint so you can tailor the Jasmine tea if you'd like. Typically the bloom tea is served in a clear glass pot, with a flower in it (hence the name) but because of back orders, and the pots being shipped from East Asia the nice lady explained that all teas are served in a ceramic pot for now. It was still tasty, so not going to let that effect my experience. Just FYI there won't be any clear pots any time soon. I ended my visit with a milktea to go- I tried the OG and it was delicious, even though we didn't adjust the sweetness it wasn't super sweet, and the tea had a good flavor. This one is served with Boba. Interesting thing about this shope they have a vegan style Boba and the milk is nondairy - so no worries there.

After an epic walk and view from Joseph D Grant County Park, stopped here for an iced tea with unique flavors. After a throrough search on Yelp, I found the place with the one of a kind tea drink I have not seen anywhere else In my years of tea consumption throughout CA - Okey Dokey Artichokey. Getting past the silly menu item names, this artichoke chrysanthemum tea with aloe vera was the strangest yet oddly satisfying drink I've had. I ordered with half sweetness, which was a bit too light for this drink and a little harsher on my stomach than I would have liked. However, intriguing and definitely worth the try.

Bloom Tea House is a tea store located on Quimby Road, San Jose. The place sells both regular artisanal teas and milk teas, but I will focus on the latter in my review. I truly believe this is a criminally underrated East San Jose establishment that deserves more attention. Here's the rundown: I got myself The OG ($5) and the Okurr ($5). Both are 18 oz. and requested at 50% sweetness and less ice. The OG is described as a Classic Black Milk Tea that uses premium loose leaf tea leaves and contains honey boba. The quality of the drink is nothing short of exceptional; you are immediately greeted with strong, flavorful tea that is also appropriately balanced. One cool thing I notice was how you can almost smell the aromatics, which is not common in my experience with milk tea. The boba has good texture and you can actually taste the honey it's coated in. Get this when you're looking for a primer tea drink for any occasion. If you want to twist things up with Oreo bits and jasmine tea, you get yourself the Okurr. Same deal as The OG with the prominent tea flavor and the yummy boba, but the Oreo bits really do add sparks of that crumbly cookie sweetness that you might like in your drink. The Oreo is finely crushed into the perfect size, and unlike most other places' attempt to add creative toppings to an otherwise humble drink, it added to the experience rather than detracted from it. I come here on the weekends and experience easy parking regardless of time of day. Usually, you will have a small line, but I find myself the only customer sometimes. All COVID regulations have been met. Very friendly staff who can also speak Vietnamese. I get my drinks in around 4-6 minutes time. The place is by the same location as DiLuc Vegetarian Cuisine. You can opt for milk substitutes if you're allergic or lactose-intolerant. It's a relief to find that places like this exist and are serving quality tea drinks for us to enjoy. Give Bloom Tea House a shot if you're by the Quimby area!

It’s located inside the vegetarian restaurant. Tried their Green Fruit Juice, it was really good.Check it out if you are in the neighborhood and treat your self with a vegan bowl of Bún Bò Huê’ spicy noodle soup while at it.

I think their tea quality is amazing. And like the softer yet still chewy boba. They also allow you to use your milk of choice , for those who are lactose. I chose the oat milk with black tea it was delicious

A new tea house in the Bay and a fun one overall! I got the #1 and #2 (The OG and Okurr) teas. The tea has a pretty strong black tea flavor and I love the agar boba. The addition of Oreo into a drink is something really cool as well! Overall, it's an interesting pretty new spot with very nice staff!

Overprice and overrated place. It's nice and cozy inside, but I guess that's about it? Came here with 5 ppl and all of our drinks are bland, diluted, and cup is small af for some of the drink. Good place for picture I guess....
