Bonchon Santa Teresa

Bonchon is my favorite fried chicken restaurant. Some cities in SoCal have many different Korean BBQ restaurants to choose from, but on San Jose we have Bonchon - it is a great place, though, and is as good as any other BBQ place I've tried. Get the sky garlic sauce!

Didn’t even let us dine in. It was 8:05 when we came in and the restaurant was completely empty. The employee was on his phone and asked us if we were gonna dine in or take out. We said dine in and he said oh but it closes at 8:55.. he was lazy and on his phone and didn’t want us to dine in so we left instead. They do not close for another hour which was ridiculous.

I know that fried chicken is unhealthy. And maybe because of that I rarely eat it. Today I did, and this place is probably the most delicious chicken i've ever had in my life. Lol For real this stuff is crazy good.

This place has the worst customer service ever, the staff is very disrespectful and I would not recommend this place ever. GO TO ANOTHER LOCATION. Employees steal from customers and managers are never there.

The service is heavy, it looks like they don't help themselves, the chicken is given raw. And the wait is very long Ballan to another Santa Teresa's is bad that happens. Because they are paid the minimum per hour, the worker is not happy and the client pays the consequence.

I've been here twiceand the wait times were ridiculous. I waited almost an hour for those pork buns. ( disappointed) Also, there was a group before us, they complained that they almost waited over an hour for their order. This is a constant issue at this location. It's always empty so idk what the workers are doing in the back ?‍♀️

We ordered from them last week and had no issues,today we ordered and to find out they mixed our order up with someone else's. We ordered wings and strips. We only got wings. I called them and Vincent answered,I told him what happened. He said he will speak to the manager,so I hear him tell them that the phone call states that were scammers? Wtf! How unprofessional and we paid for our meals. He had our Name etc we also paid by credit card. I could hear him going back and forth with a female and a man in the background talking about we're scammers. He then just hangs up on me. So called several times and no answer. Finally he answered and I told him how unprofessional! Don't buy from this place they have went down hill. They change products and don't tell you,they overcook their stuff and have bad customer service. I emailed the corporate office and they have no phone number another unprofessional issue. They use to be so good. Why didnt they ask for us to bring back the product in exchange for the right items. I referred a lot of people to them and now I will be spreading the word not to cone because you get robbed and they have a fraudulent menu. Check all items before leaving. Make sure its what you ordered and make sure your chicken isn't dry. ITS NOT WORTH IT!

Reliable place to get some very crispy tasty fried chicken. The coleslaw compliments the chicken.Been going here for a few years, pricey, but chicken quality and taste is good and consistent.

Super friendly! Can’t get enough of the chicken.. 😁

So I ordered the Katsu chicken. Took a while for the food. Chicken was luke warm. Coleslaw was tasteless. Cook in back was blasting his Mariachi music which seriously clashed with the restaurant music. Where was the manager telling him to turn it down? Young man at the counter was very friendly.

Horrible experience. Ordered food, waited, music was rap with f- word and n-word. Complained to shift supervisor who argued he can play whatever he wants, just berated me. Avoid going there at night with family.

First time coming to Bonchon and had high hopes but was let down immensely. Boneless wings looked like they came from the frozen section of the grocery store and were barely covered by the sauce.
