Love the food and the service at this location. We visit Boudin often but yesterday was one of those that deserves a mention.Guadalupe blew us away with her service when I ordered a sandwich for my better half. Since we were eating there and taking the sandwich to go, Guadalupe ensured that the sandwich was fresh and waited till it was time for us to leave. Thanks Guadalupe!

Great bread. Monthly specials keep things interesting. Super French Dip. Classic Italian and Chicken Salad are also excellent. BBQ Chicken is my favorite salad - great variety of textures and tastes - all goes well with chicken and BBQ. We go here at least once a week for lunch and love it. All staff are friendly and very helpful.

They raised their soup prices to $10 for a small bowl. Insane. Guess I gotta find a new clam chowder spot.

I ordered half a sandwich and a salad to take home I cannot find anything in the sandwich except for bread, one piece of meat and a piece of lettuce. It was horrific. I had to go to the store and buy more lunch meat to make a decent sandwich. I don't know how they figure that for the price we pay these days that there's absolutely nothing inside. It was all bread. Very disgusting, I will never go back to any of their stores. I had a feeling it was going to be this way because I remembered so long ago that's why I have not visited since the store in Cupertino closed and now I remember why. I haven't had the salad yet, so I can't comment on that yet , but you know it's just lettuce.

Today I was on a hunt for some cute heart/valentines treats in SJ! After seeing online that Boudin has some heart shaped bread I wanted to see if I could pick some up! I went to the fremont location the other night but they sold out of them that day. This time at this location I had better luck, there was no line and they had a few right behind the counter when I walked in. I already had lunch so all I picked up was the heart bread. Super cute! Can't wait to try it. I always enjoy Boudin bread, I usually get their bread bowls too. The employee was nice and they wrapped it up pretty in a clear plastic bag with a cute bow! It came out to $8, which seemed reasonable for the amount of bread you get.

3.5 Stars. This location is in the shopping center with Tomatina Restaurant, BevMo, Sprouts Market, etc. Quiet location. Nice simple decor. Customer service is friendly and polite. Their sandwiches, pizzas, and soups, especially their clam chowder in sourdough bowls, are good.

The clam chowder was only 80% of the regular portion. It's what I got. The same 80% situation happened on all the clam chowder order on my table. It's not my first time going to Boudin SF so don't tell me what the "standard" is (I talked to the manager and they said it's standard?!). It just feels like a scam. I would never come back.

This review is dedicated to Maria V. Maria was the cashier-on-duty and delivered a warm greeting to her guests; she showed detailed insight on the menu and its various items. The new Sourdough Pepperoni Pizza is AMAZING! I thought it only came in one size (personal) but Maria mentioned that it comes in a larger size. YES! Why wasn't this posted on the menu?! Thank you, Maria! Excellent customer service. Warm environment. Moderate wait time.

I bought one of their pull-apart Santa Claus rolls at 1:00 on 12/24/23. We had it for our Christmas meal the next day. The bread was stale. Around 7 of the rolls were pulled off during our meal (all reported to be stale) I returned the remaining bread today, 12/26/23, approximately 12:30. The store manager made it very difficult to return. She wanted to refund only half the money since some of the rolls were gone. Either she or another employee (I don't recall which) told me that I should have frozen it (for 24 hours!) I went back and forth with the store manager several times. She also offered a new Santa roll, but I've already lost confidence in their quality. I had to be very firm with her that I wanted my money back. Ultimately, she offered a $25 gift card, which I accepted, though I made it clear I wanted my money returned to my credit card. I plan to call Boudin's corporate office tomorrow when they open. That manager should be removed and retrained ASAP. That experience was the worst customer experience in a long time.

Only requested "no cranberry" for the Butternut Squash soup I ordered online, but they served me "no walnut" on top of "no cranberry ". The Soup is priced at $8.99; it is only 3/4 full of the bowl.

Took my daughter here for the first time and she loves the sandwich. I always get the half sandwich with a soup combo. Clam chowder and a Turkey Avocado bacon sandwich..
