This is the second time I've bought whole sour dough loaves from this location. Tried them again because I thought it may be just inconsistency in the dough. It's not. The sourdough is too bland and doesn't do justice to San Francisco sourdough bread. I can find much better sourdough in other local bakeries.

This location sucks. They are always 10-20min late on my order. Today, I watched as the landing zone filled with food and one worker refused to help with to go orders and another sat on her phone in the corner. I watched people who ordered to dine in store get their food before me when I watched them order 15min after I did. My food sat ready to be bagged with about 7-8 other to go orders unattended. When I asked if my order was ready, the front person was rude and unhelpful. He just stood around the register and eventually started running dine in orders when the kitchen complained they were running out of space to place food. Open kitchen so customers can hear everything. I waited another 10min before the manager (I assume) started helping out. And I saw the food she bagged for me was sitting in the window the entire time I waited. Atrocious service. Last time ordering here and I advise you avoid this location if looking for quick dining/take out experience.

A “fasteraunt “ order at the counter. Delivered to your table. I had an amazing bri, apples and fig sandwich, a multigrain salad and an order of freshly cut fries. Wow! Above and beyond delicious!! I’ll be back for this meal!

Always love to buy a few loaves to take home when I visit the Bay Area. Usually head to Saratoga store and always satisfied. This time at Almaden Expressway in San Jose they ONLY had large dark sourdough. I wanted multigrain whole wheat and so did the guy behind me. None available. I purchased 3 dark sourdough loaves. (Other customer walked out.) Very disappointing. Also bathroom not clean at 10:00 am.
Waited in line for 10 mins before deciding to order on the kiosk bc it was taking so long. Waited another 20+mins for my food. And was late to work. Speed and efficiency is not key here unfortunately. If your in a hurry order ahead far in advance so maybe you get your food on time.

Restaurant literally empty and they have no organization, it took 20 mins for me to ask what's going on, how hard is to cup open a sour dough and pour soup, the guy that is walking dropping off the food saw me that I got before the other 4 ppl after me, his explanation is that I order in the kiosk, but i didn't, bad experience in my first and last visit

I ordered a bowl of the broccoli cheddar soup tonight on a take out order and honestly it was so incredibly salty I could barely eat it. Not only do I not care for sodium rich foods but with my high blood pressure I can’t eat them. So disappointed because I used to come here and enjoy this soup, but no more. Boudin, think about your customer’s health.
Dietary restrictions: Don’t order the broccoli cheddar soup, too much sodium!!!
