Amazing Boba place! They are stingy with their boba pearls at all. 100% recommend.

I walked into this establishment with a group of friends (about 8 people total). In order to sit together we brought together several of the tables (the place was not busy at this time so we didnt think anything of it) & were immediately told by the staff working the counters that we are to return any tables & their chairs back to the way they were before we walked in. We did not make an issue of this but as a first time customer at Break time tea, that did not sit well at all with me & was a poor first impression.

No worries, we’ll just order our tea & put everything back before we leave. I ordered the Taro Milk tea with extra boba, and when my order was called i was given a taro milk tea which had many bits & pieces of milk or taro in it. The milk in my tea was seemingly cut with something when they mixed it. And this made it taste dreadful.

My issue is when i brought this to the attention of the two employees working the bar they made a face(annoyed) and told me thats how the taro milk tea is supposed to be made and that there was no issue with it according to them.

I couldnt drink my tea the way it was made & threw it away after being gaslighted into thinking it was normal.

Such an impression has made me never want to return or recommend this place to any of my friends.

This place is a little small, but the boba tea selection is good and the appetizer selection has something for everyone. I had pot stickers and curly fries and a boba tea. While waiting for my BF. Did some coloring homework.

They have really reasonable priced boba and snacks that tastes really good.

The popcorn chicken here is honesty one of my favorite places to get them. The popcorn chicken is actually chicken and not filled with breading mix. The price is worth it, as the box is always loaded.

The store itself is pretty small though, as many students come in here. Pickup notification system is sometimes delayed. Otherwise great food and drinks here 👍🥰

The taste is ok for me, not a particular one. We ordered half sweet (50%), I will recommend you choose 75% (less sweet) in stead for better taste

The boba and the snack are both fantastic! I’m so happy we have a such a nice boba place near the campus😍 The Takoyaki balls have lots of squid too! Thai tea 50% sugar is perfect ❤️

My go-to is the Chicken Nibblers and a Grapefruit tea. I wish they they had more teas with real fruit instead of syrup. The prices are a little steep, but I know the bay is expensive to operate in.

Music in this spot is always blaring. I wish it was a more tolerable level.

The food is excellent and always enjoyable, but the way staff communicate can feel unwelcoming.

I came here with some friends a few weeks ago and I think this might be one of the best places to grab boba if you're a student near this area. The ambience is great. The interior is quite aesthetic and the workers are friendly. The takoyaki is great and decently priced. Crispy on the outside and delightfully gooey on the inside, the takoyaki is the perfect after school snack. I highly recommend it. I also thought the tea was great and the ratio of tea and toppings was good.

One thing I would critique them on is probably how fast they put out the food and drinks. A friend ordered after me and although we both ordered the same drink albeit different toppings, hers took longer to come out. It wasn't that long of a wait, but I felt bad my friend had to wait for a while everyone else already got their drinks, including me who ordered the same thing as her.

Update: I have come back multiple times over the years and the quality has gone down but the prices have increased. Still a decent place. But definitely overpriced.
