Good food, a friendly environment, and a fun place to be. My friends sons band plays there from time to time. Drop by, you'll really enjoy your time.

Great consistent fish and chips, 25+ beers on tap. Large portions, fair pricing. Go there!

It's cool. Hit or miss, kind of. Nice staff. Some great bands play here. I like it.

Good, local, long-standing pub for visiting friends and having some food and drink. Service was nice, though could be better with refilling water or other beverages. Food follows more "traditional" English pubs with fish and chips, shepherds pie, and kidney pie - but also has some standard American food (e.g. burgers). Parking lot can be limited due to other popular places nearby, but not too bad to find a spot. Close to major roads and highway 85, so very convenient.

This was my home for 22 years. I bartended made friends and people I never met before. It gave me an experience to meet many people from different places. I miss being in there everyday making everyone’s experiences my best. I miss the food, I miss my co-workers and I definitely miss the company I had everyday. I miss the people who made it what it is…Mike, John, and Kathleen. People who were amazing at making the Brit the place to be! Thanks for the opportunity and the memories and the friends we meet along the way! Oh yeah I miss the Reuben a lot

Britainia Arms Almaden is the ultimate neighborhood hangout spot, where every night feels like a celebration. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted by a lively atmosphere, incredible food, and a staff that’s as charming as they are attentive. The servers are stunning, with warm smiles and personalities that make you feel right at home. And let’s not forget the bartenders—these folks know their craft and serve up drinks with flair, always ready with recommendations to match your mood or suggest one of their stellar drink specials.

The food? Absolutely delicious. The Brit Almaden takes classic pub fare to another level, with every dish prepared to perfection. It’s easy to tell that quality is a priority here, as each bite feels like a little indulgence.

What really sets The Brit Almaden apart, though, are the events. There’s always something going on to keep things fresh and fun, from trivia nights that test your wits to karaoke that lets you be the star. And if live music is your scene, you’re in luck—bands take the stage regularly, adding to the vibrant energy.

Whether you’re here to catch up with friends or meet new faces, you’ll always find good company and a welcoming vibe. The Brit Almaden is more than just a bar; it’s a place where people come together for memorable nights, laughter, and a truly good time.

Its a bar. They have upgraded bar food. The cook there was especially accommodating for my gluten-sensitive hubby. There is a good variety of beer and hard seltzers. The servers/bartenders are attentive and accommodatingl.

Stopped in for a drink to meet up with friends, the band was great and the outside patio was quiet enough to talk. So the best of both worlds!
